Comcast Motorola 6412 freezing

I was refureed to this site by some one on comcasts forum. Because I been having my Motorola 6412 freezing on me, 2 times a day, 4:20am and 4:50pm every day. Does any one know anything I can do to stop it. I have relocated the device, I have pluged it into a diffirent outlet. Thanks.

My 6412 also freezes at 4:50 pm daily. Comcast has not been able to provide any resolution besides un-plugging the unit & waiting 30 seconds.
Please post if solution to problem is found.

I don't know if it is a solution but I used to have a bunch of Series Recordings with time added before and after. I no longer do that and have been fine since. One other thing to do is rearrange your Series Recordings until the problem goes away. Time consuming and painful because you will either lock up immediately or have to wait till 4:20 am / 4:50 pm to see if your problem is resolved or not.

Give it a try and post back what you find.
