Watching late last night with Closed Captions on, lest I wake everyong in the house, there was a notation of "hydraulics hiss" as the car was being lowered.

Delerium does wonderful things with pain.
She could have lost her shoes and walked across a cactus patch without noticing, thanks to the heat-dehydration induced delerium.
