I finally got to watch it tonight. I thought it was pretty good. I can nitpick on some things, but the show had a darker side that I liked. I actually liked the daydream sequences.

Not bad, not great.

One gripe is how they keep trying to jam down my throat how young/hot/desirable Ms Shue is. She's not bad looking, but they're overplaying their hand.

Agreed. This isn't 1984 and she isn't hot, Karate Kid Shue anymore. She's definitely a MILF, but she is in no way as hot as Elisabeth Harnois (Morgan Brody).

Really? Different perspectives I guess. Even though E Shue is certainly showing her middle years now she still retains her sexiness to me. On the other hand E Harnois despite the fact she's in her 30's still kinda looks like a younger kid when I see her. She just has too much of a straight, boyish shape with very little in the way of curves for my taste. Of course just personal preference but even her facial looks don't really grab me.

But preferences aside, I haven't got the vibe that they're trying to promote Shue as some kind of hot, young, eye candy type chick. To me it's more like they're trying to portray her uninhibited, rebellious and somewhat reckless, caution-to-the-wind persona.

Well it could be due to our age differences, too biggrin.gif

Seems like last season, I remember a softball game where she was the over-the-top focus. Or when she's at the "party" last week, dancing and grinding with that dude. Because, yeah, she fits in and doesn't look out of place with all the other skanks in the room.

I don't have anything against her though, and don't really mind her character smile.gif

Palm trees in Seattle! That was hilarious. Obviously they went to some marina around Los Angeles to shoot and then inserted the Seattle skyline in the back ground including the Space Needle. Plus foliage on the hills in that one scene doesn't exist around Seattle nor small swamp like lakes. I used to live in Seattle so it was a great laugh!

We have a baseball stadium here in Peoria Illinois with pine trees. They replace them every year. It's like a circus parade - here come the new trees!

I had to laugh also as that was clearly a shot near Marina Del Rey or down by Long Beach, it's as if they're not even trying anymore to disguise the actual location.

I really liked last night's episode. The story about the 3-D plastic gun was a big hit for me because I've heard about these for some time. A couple of my co-workers got to see one of these in action and actually have a small Yoda head that was made by one of these printers. We have talked in the past about whether someone could make a gun with one of these.

I enjoyed the two-part episode very much, a really good show, and i like when shows cross over like this.

I thought Ted Danson, who i am not normally that crazy with in his role, was excellant. I think the difference was that he had someone real strong (Gary Sinese) to play off of instead of him being the only strong leader on the show. I thought this was Danson's best show(s).

I thought last night's episode was one of the better ones in some time, probably going back to when Fishburne went off on the serial killer. I'm also glad they finally put to bed the deal between Sara and Grissom.

Agreed. I had a slim hope that Grissom would come back in a cameo.. He was an interesting boss, bugs and all..
