DTV reception from Sutro in Sonoma county

One of these days soon I plan to retire to Sonoma county, perhaps around Santa Rosa. What luck do do you folks in Windsor, Kenwood, et al. have in receiving OTA DTV from Sutro? Santa Rosa is almost exactly as far from Sutro as my current home in San Jose but I am concerned about hills and other problem sources.

Similar future plans! Mount Tam will sorta get in the way a bit more than Mt San Bruno! By the time either of us gets to retire, the newer chips may be out and about (so most folks wouldn't need rooftop antennas but distant folks, e.g., in Sonoma county, could pick up the signal with today's rigs) or am I being too optimistic??? Also SR area is one of the fastest growing in CA so there may be a couple of network stations there by then too!!!

Anyone in Sonoma county care to comment?

Anyone there?

Hello?!

I live in Ukiah (one hour farther north up 101), but requent the shops in Santa Rosa. According to the guys at Sonoma Sound Masters the OTA HDTV is spotty at best, with KBHK (UPN) being the most consistent. Occational NBC, but not anything else. I use satellite up here for PBS, ABC, HBO and Showtime. Maybeby the time you retire....
