I am still deciding.... studio 60 and 690 center, or Sig2 and C5, or Sig6 and C5... its for mainly movies, and I will have a separate sub (or 2).
to save cash i would go to the studio line for movies.. 100s tho for a few pennies more ... but if you got cash to burn sigs S8.. for stereo.. sweetness..

I would say 100's are bit over kill for movies...I am sure the guy has a sub...60's should be fine.. Although, I do think the 100's have a very slightly better mid...as well.

If you mean me, have nad SVS PC+ Tube.
I'm looking for a bigger presence in a 2.1 or concert DVD atmosphere, Hence the curiousity for the 100's.
So Paradigm is playing the blame game in regards to receiving my Studio 100 in piano black with a crack on a corner.. Dropped the speaker off early last week and they still haven't mailed out a replacement saying the speaker was dropped...dealer will just buy/order another if they don't cover it...but I'm still waiting for the dealer to do this ...ugh.
Meanwhile anthem sent out a new replacement MRX 700 since the new one I bought was actually used with no hassle.
Feels like I'm missing a testicle. Drop 5 grand on something and a month later I only have one speaker and a tainted receiver whose remote decided to stop working. Maybe the exploded batteries in it contributed to this.
EDIT: just got a phone call from paradigm rep apologizing for everything and will get me a replacement...didn't mention when though. Edited by coresare - 3/12/13 at 2:03pm
I am upgrading from a 5.1 to a 7.1 system.This is what I have:
Paradigm 3se MkII front left rights speakers
Paradigm CC-300 center channel speaker
Miller & Kreisel, M&K MX-200 Passive Subwoofer
Paradigm Special Edition SE 1 Speakers (pair)
Pair of Infinity QPS-1 Quadrupole Speakers (pair)
My question where to use the SE 1's and the QPS-1 Quadrupole's,as in rear side surround and and rear surround back.
Hey guys, I need to find a paradigm in the NYC metro (hopefully LI) that would have the SIG-1.5R-30 v.3 in stock so I can listen to them. Anyone have any ideas? I cannot find a showroom that has them.

I did, both places that sell the signature line in the city supposedly do not keep any in stock to listen to. How am I supposed to buy speakers, and cannot listen to them?

My local dealer does not stock the Sig line. I am very happy with my Sig 2's and glad i took a chance on them.
Anyone else directly compare the series 7 Monitor 7s vs the 9s ? I demoed the 7s, 9s, and 11s at a local dealer and found the difference between the 7s and the 9s to be staggering. The 7s sounded downright tinny and pale compared the 9s. The difference between the 9s and 11s was pretty minimal. Naturally I don't trust anyone who is trying to make commission off me, so I question the validity of the demo. Has anyone done similar sampling and what are your conclusions?
