Quote:XT32 has more filters for better overall EQ-ing, including sub(s). But XT is pretty good and a lot of people are quite happy with it.
So you think there was a pretty noticeable difference with Audyssey XT32 vs XT?
I'm happy with my Marantz's MultEQ, but if I were replacing my receiver today, I would probably be looking to jump to XT32. Of course, if budget only permitted a jump to XT, I'd be fine with that, too.

Now as far as the pre/pro, if I went with the AV receiver for the processor and use the pre outs on it, will that be just as good as using a processor only? I mean, is it sort of in the middle since it's still a receiver and still contains all the components for processing & amps that hard core separate supporters say interfere with the sound quality?
