Yup, they come with wall mounts. You'll need another pair of hands to hold the speaker while you drill the screw for the back-up wire.
I am really enjoying these speakers and feel you won't regret them at all!
There are some good sales on receivers going on today including a Marantz 2007 for $1500 or Pioneer 1528 for $1300 (hope it's ok that I listed the prices). I'm not sure if the 7008 is on sale. A 6008 is on for $1000. Since I'm considering either a Studio 100 or Signature S6 5.1 surround system, would people have any opinions on these systems? Is the step up from 7007 to 7008 really worth the price?
Does anyone else have any thoughts they can offer on the 2 systems I am comparing:
Studio set would include (largest in each category):
Studio 100 x2
Studio ADP-590 x2
Signature set would include (2nd largest in each category):
One thing I have considered is an ADP3 instead of ADP1 for the Signature set. Would the Signature set be lacking any significant "power" compared to the Studio set for a fairly large room (combined living room, kitchen, dining room)?
So, I think I'm going to try and make a purchase today of a Paradigm system if I can get a good price on them. I'm fairly set on the following set up:
My main point of uncertainty though is with the surround speakers - should I go with the ADP3 or ADP1? I'm leaning ADP3 now but all the other choices are "one step down" from the largest most expensive in the category but for the surrounds, this would be the ADP1. Any thoughts?
Also, I just want to see if I can get any last opinions from people on whether this should still be a sufficient and "equal" system to a set of top Studio line speakers:
Studio 100 x2
When I move to my new condo in February, the speakers will be in a LARGE open room combining living room, kitchen, and dining room so I want to make sure there is sufficient sound.
So, the salesperson I've been speaking with just got back in touch and told me that they can take a further 5% off of my offered price if I pay CASH, "not financing or credit card". I'm not too sure what to make of this... Sounds a bit sketchy to me. I would CERTAINLY not make that kind of purchase without a receipt and I can't imagine that's what they would be expecting. I could see it if they said pay upfront, no financing, but why no credit card???
