When you launch Xlobby hit F2 for config and Pause|Break for screen design.
Any questions please ask.. once you get going its becomes easier.
I couldnt get it to work at all, I could see all my music and Movies, I DLed all the shareware they needed to run the stuff ( Winamp,Foobar,Zoomplayer,Daeman Tools ) but could never get any of it to work stable. I actually heard music towards the end just one time, when I tried to open another song........nothing. The one song I did hear had about a 6 second delay until it played.
The Daemon tools was some scary stuff and theres no documentation in XLobby as to setting this stuff up, it just kind of jumps around through the forum on a hit and miss basis.
The theme was sort of Hokie looking and I never had much luck finding any themes that looked as professional as the Meedio themes( mainly HDeeMeTv which is a HD Theme) , one menu led to another menu, to another menu, to another with arrows and icons everywhere.
I did like the auto tagging feature, hit and miss but mainly hit! I liked the PDA menu as well but could never get the Bluetooth to talk to XLobby which does not surprise me because nothing ever really worked. In fact my Meedio was stable as can be and is now tweaked up in the movies end of things since I messed with XLobby and it will take me hours to figure out why the movie doesnt play instantly ( or at all)
What surprises me is that this is 2005 (almost 2006) and no one makes a frontend program that works with auto configure ( Meedio is real close minus the DD,DTS setup and tagging issues)as much fun as people make of Windows, It seems to be the only stable software I ever have after all these years, these front ends are a living nightmare and the folks on the forums act like everyone is a programmer, and I am far from it. I am a little dissappointed in the frontend department!
