When does the new season start???
LOL

Does anyone even bother to type in "www.sho.com" or "www.hbo.com" anymore?

(said in jest of course)

Edit: A quick scan of one of the above websites revealed that Season 2 should start sometime this summer ... probably August ... that'll be $15 please.

If you're referring to my inquiry, after just now checking the website,
none of the "season renewed!" info was there the last time I looked.
And unless I missed it, I still don't see a premier date other than
"this summer".

Great show - I guess we have to wait until summer for the new episodes.

I hope the show continues - seems like a winner... But that's what I thought about Dead Like Me.

I went to the Weeds tribute at the Museum of Television and Radio on Wednesday. The cast and creator were there. First they said that the new season would start in June and then they just said some time this summer.

are they rerunning season 1 on showtime? i'd like to see it.

The new season of Weeds on Showtime.....

Now featuring White Sparkles for your enjoyment

They are starting to repeat the first season on Showtime at the end of this month, but nothing is scheduled on Showtime HD!!

I sure hope they show the first season in HD before the new season. I've never seen it but it seems like my kind of show.

I checked the Showtime schedule and repeats of Season 1 of Weeds with 2 episodes begin on Friday, March 31. The showings are shown on the Showtime HD schedule, so they will be available in HD. Look again. I missed most of the episodes when this was broadcast last year, so would like to see this from the beginning.

Oh, I see, cool! I was thrown off because the schedule on sho.com just lists the episode titles. It doesn't actually say "Weeds."

''Weeds'' on DVD

From Rich Heldenfels in his Akron Beacon Journal TV blog

Here's the official announcement:

Showtime's award-winning TV series, Weeds, starring Golden Globe winner Mary-Louise Parker, Elizabeth Perkins and Kevin Nealon, is now being made available for the first time on DVD.

Lionsgate will release Weeds: Season One on July 11, and the second season begins airing on Showtime in August.

The DVD set is loaded with special features including Smoke & Mirrors - an original marijuana mockumentary, Agrestic herbal recipes, audio commentaries from the cast and show creator plus much more.

One down note: Full-screen format. But 5.1 Dolby Digital (as well as 2.0). List price will be $39.98.

Must have been smoking pot when they made that decision.

Thanks for the heads up fredfa.

Good show, wish it was HBO (of course they'd probably cancel it though). I caught the series during a free Showtime preview, though it looked like a show oriented more toward women, I found myself laughing my ass off. Has kind of a "American Beauty" black comedy type thing, really skewers the hell out of American suburban life.
When HBO is done with Deadwood, and if 'Weeds' is showing on ShowtimeHD, I might just pick up Showtime, at least while Weeds is running.

too bad they don't have numerous repeats in hd like Huff.
