Thanks for the info. I have wanted the 42" HD and have been following this so much that the wife is getting pissed. The final price for that unit didnt fall that much from last week (discount and rebate) compaired to the msrp. If you are into the 50" it looks a bunch better. Any other noticable drops?
Just came from CC, and the Panasonic 50" plasma has been reduced in price an additional 10% in addition the $1,000 cut from the manufacturer.
So sorry, I read a few posts back the info I just sent.
But allow me to add that CC gives the purchaser a $100 coupon toward the purchase of hi-def signal from cable or satellite.
How do I word this? So unless I am mistaken that unit is a good deal but CC is has only taken 400 of the MSRP and not as much off as last week. The total for the 42 only fell 200 or 300, Not the 500 that msrp fell. It seems like CC could do better.
Hey guys, i'm new to the plasma game, just got mine today! panny 50px50u. I had an issue w/ my previous tv (sony 50a10 rp lcd) and was able to work out a great deal on the 50" plasma. I also got a glimpse at the "dealer cost" when one of the employees showed me the actual cost in their system.
The dealer cost for this particular store was $$$$$$. I scored the tv for a ridiculously low $$$$$$ due to the deal i worked out b/c of the problem w/ my other tv.
edit ** Sorry guys, I took out the prices after I read the forum rules
