Please help me start a VINE.
I have sent several PM for discs 3-5 but no one has been able to reply and offer to send me the disc. I suggest we make a Vine out of the Tree. Lets get a complete set of the discs 1-5 and then pass the set from person to person. This works with trading music. Each person has about 3 days to make a copy and send the set to the next person. This way everyone can get a set and each person only needs make one copy rather than multiple copies.
We can set up a list of 10 and then after that start a new list so it doesn't get lost.
Here are some Vine rules used by music traders.
VINE RULES and GUIDELINES- VINING - might seem like a lot but once you get used to vines it's all logical but it needs to be spelled out.
1. Please do not sign up for a vine if you will be unable to send it back out within 48-72 hours.
2. When you do sign up for a vine, be sure to:
a. COPY AND PASTE - NOT QUOTE - the complete list from the LAST post on the LAST page. And CHECK after signing on and posting. Make sure you didn't knock someone off the list!
b. Sign up using your member login name.
c. If you live outside of the United States please add that information at the end of your name. (So we can understand why the vine has slowed down)
d. Contact the person above you on the list as soon as you sign on and send them your complete home address with your full nine-digit zip code, and the complete title of the vine for which you are referring.
(heres the link to get your full zip code: http://zip4.usps.com/zip4/welcome.jsp
e. Exchange e-mail addeys! In case any contact is needed, it's nice to have, if and when the site is down.
And not everybody logs on here daily!
d. Bookmark this thread for future reference!!!!!
3. Upon signing up for a vine you agree to help in keeping it alive and moving. In doing so, you agree to reseed the show at least once if the show should become lost or damaged. Keep the show data in it's original format until at least 3(three) people after you have received and passed the vine on. This helps in the reseeding of a show.
Usually the last person who had the vine re-seeds when something happens to the vine.
4.) When you get the vine, give the next person a heads up that it's heading to that viner and wait for a reply to send. No point in a vine sitting in someones mailbox for a week if that person is out of town.
NOTE: I cannot start this Vine without a complete set of the discs. I have only discs 1 and 2. My copy of disc 1 was an early version that might have been improved. Please send my a set of the discs and I will sent it to the next person that signs up.
1. Sign up and contact me to send the discs.
