Yeah, in VGA it's nearly perfect, but in VGA the TV tries to scale it, and after contacting Olevia they told me there is no hidden advanced settings menu to disable it, that I should use PowerStrip.
Closest I can get is 1368x768, which would be fine if it wasn't being scaled.
1360 is awful.
I don't think 1366 is possible, the video card won't accept it, if you make powerstrip display "1366" it's really at 1360, I can only get the horizontal backend to say it's using it, which is when using HDMI.
Using HDMI to DVI it gives me 1368x768 without scaling, but the color is washed out and it appears as if a sharpness setting is on, but it isn't...
If only it had the positive traits of VGA, I would be fine.
Everything is nearly perfect, which is amazingly infuriating.
I might try Component.
I don't know how I can possibly return my tv if there is no solution, TigerDirect says no returns... but they also refer me to Olevia for lots of stuff they say they won't do, I have no idea if Olevia would take my tv.
