Good lord, the bulbs are even cheaper than that, they're on line for less than $5 each (just google mr-11 bulb). I don't intend to violate any forum policy by posting this, if it is a problem please mods either delete the specific price or let me know and I'll delete it.
The hasbro page which has the clickable flash thingy on it ishttp://www.hasbro.com/default.cfm?pa...asset_cat_id=3
Zoombox is on the bottom right
Can't find anything about its resolution -- as one article notes, "This might be the most low-cost projector on the market. Of course there is no word about brightness, contrast ratio or supported resolutions. The photo of the Zoombox is also promising not too much."http://www.i4u.com/article4200.html
Not sure I agree that it's going to be hot with modders -- if the resolution is poor it doesn't matter how bright you can get it.
Still, I think there will be a big demand for this -- you have to look to find a 32" regular old curved-screen tv for $300, and that doesn't include the DVD. This promises 60" so it ought to at least provide 40" to 50" image size. With a built-in DVD player and connections (composite only) for a game system, replacement bulbs $5, I sure wish I'd had one when I was a kid.
