Oh, absolutely. Breathtaking -- just love to see all that gorgeous gear and stunningly painted to offset the ocean and sky. I would watch this for production values alone -- that picture was as good as I have seen and must have had augmented bit rate as it surely did not exhibit the propensity of alot of NBC productions/presentations to break up when anyone sneezes.
The acting was as fine as you're going to find. I LOVE the fact that we are treated to more mystery/suspense/sci-fi clones -- how many court/emergency room/cop dramas can you watch? Hey, if this is not your cup of tea -- God bless you, move on. I for one am going to cast out my hearty cheers to whatever network minions sift these boards. This is what I want to see. It may be no West Wing, but then again West Wing is arguably the best thing written for any screen anywhere at this time -- I would not expect in my wildest imaginings for this to be of that caliber -- might be nice, but just not in the realm of the realistic.
I would say that Surface easily competes with anything set before us on the big screen of a similar nature and recent vintage AND it's for free AND you don't have to watch or feel ripped off in ANY way -- as I say, move on if this does not fill your requisite appetite for whatever, but I have to be a little suspect of repeating "SUCKED" over and over without additional explication -- sounds like an ill-founded broad-brush to persuade others but owing to suspect cloaked motives (promoting another show perhaps? -- who knows?)
