AFAIK,
1920x1080 @60Hz+ is 1080p... which is 1080i doubled (unless it's a true 1080p source, then each line is true content and not merely a double of the interlaced lines)... 1080i draws every other scanline, then on the next frame draws the other half of the interleaved lines.

Yes. I'll be listing 3 Marquees... the M8000 which has been on my ceiling for 2 years and I'll list the M8500 with new tubes. I'll list them on the AVS Marketplace as complete projectors for a few weeks. But I suspect the new tubes are worth as much by themselves, then I'll part out the HVPS, LVPS, VIM, neckboards, etc. Sad that a projector as a whole will fetch ~$1750, but parted out will fetch $2000+. Projectors sell in weeks. New tubes sell in minutes.
Oh well... it's easier to ship 10 packages weighing 20 lbs each than one crate weighing 200 lbs. But I'll give local buyers a shot at it before I disect them. I do have a nice Marquee travel case (black anvil case with wheels).

How much 2:35 do you view now or is there a phosphor consideration between formats? Just a thought. Doug

Hi Doug-
I've never understood the benefit of 2.35 constant height.
I suspect 90% of my viewing is 1.85.
So if I set it up for 2.35CH, it seems I'd be wasting an inch of phosphor width for most of my viewing.
