Yea, too bad the info was removed from the official lt37hvs thread. I doubt anyone has even seen this thread anyway. I missed seeing it by about half an hour, and then the mod removed it and opened this thread, but nobody seems to know about it.

I need the service menu code for the Maxent MX-26x3. Alternatively, more information on the RS-232 interface would be helpful as well (such as why I can't set sharpness even though the rather generic manual claims I can). Thanks in advance.

Can anyone tell me how to get to the service menu for a Panasonic PT-50LC14? I can get to a menu that shows me lamp usage and some hexadecimal stuff, but I can't access any stuff that I would know how to adjust.

Anyone have the 42" hdtv Hisense. It is a TA42P HDRA. I wanted to tryout this code to see if it is the service code. I had to send mine back and have decided to let them keep it. If it works you can pass it around. PM me and one of you brave souls can try it.

I found access instructions elsewhere that involve a sequence of volume and recall (I won't describe the sequence so I don't violate the practice of not posting these things here), but it doesn't work on my newly purchased unit. I had read somewhere that Panasonic changed service menu access this year.

I purchased my unit outside North America, in Brazil, if that makes a difference. But it appears identical to the NA units (with the exception of accepting PAL-M signals), and has the same model number.
