Nice.... So looking forward to that Hiphug follow up and Horatio's son and the hottie...

Alexx didn't appear in this last episode, did she?

Alexx had a scene in which she told Horatio that the poker player had been poisoned and that she had found a cigar butt in his bullet wound.

Part 2 was a let down. You would think with 3 months off, the writers would have had more than this. Was the whole Rio thing REALLY needed? It didn't advance the story at all (really dumb, it just got H out of the town for 24 hours and nothing else) and just added one day to the story line, which I guess in Miami if you look fabulous today, you wear the same clothes tomorrow! That bright yellow shirt and tie Wolfe had on ran through both parts! I DVR'ed both parts and watched then at the same time as one episode and the no change of clothes REALLY stood out. LAME!! Fire the Continuity Director! The only ones who should have NOT had a change of clothes, Callie (she was abducted) and H who just got a free trip to Rio.

I couldn't agree with you more very disappointing especially after the 1st episode was so good I thought anyways

Mmmmm 14 million viewers on Tuesday... .0000000001% post here LOL..

This thread should be bigger IMO...

Double epi on April 21st? keep the doubles coming!

Interesting how H was like 6 for 6 or 7 for 7 at the beginning of the episod, but at the end of CSI: NY the gun battle with Gary Sinese's character and the professional assasin, they each fired a few clips and only had one hit. WTF? I don't know why I keep watching any of the CSIs due to the high number of "whatever!" moments.

I know the ratings are very good for this show but not much play on this board for some reason. This has turned into my favorite of the CSI's

That's just it. CSI: Miami is oddly alluring to me mostly because of its high level of unbelievability and interesting style. The intro in the last episode was so corny with Horatio's impeccable aim while a remix of a song from the Once Upon a Time in the West soundtrack was playing in the background. I criticize this show a lot, yet I keep coming back for more.

I'm not a fan of any of the CSI shows but I did watch the 2 parter. I'm just curious, does this show have a habit of dangling storylines? I don't get why start the story of the boy's mother in the 1st part and have part 2 have nothing to do with her?
Eye candy show indeed, notice how the DNA experts (Boa and Valera) don't use masks or hairnets (no wonder evidence gets compromised), Calleigh also investigates crime scenes and she never sheds a single hair.

It is a beautiful thing.

This show is all about eye candy and I really enjoy it

These 2 were written differently than usual. These were right after the writers got back off of strike so maybe they didn't feel the "the ying and the yang" yet. The second part was DEFFIANTLY not their best effort.

Really gave away the "California filming" tonight. Check out the registration decals on the jet skis.........along with the "causeway bridge" sign. They are getting lazy! Scripts are getting weak also, but, the "eye candy" still works for me......

CSI: Miami just lost a HUGE chunk of eye candy by losing Alexx. If Caliegh goes next, it's doomed as far as eye candy. But they still have Horatio. Horatio Caine (turns, puts on sunglasses, poses) is the man!!

Yeah, that bridge was the same one they tried to pass off as being in Miami in an episode of "Dexter".

The writing is getting worse, which I didn't think was possible. Seriously, throwing a flatstone from a bridge, trying to hit someone on a moving jet ski, with the intent of killing them...that was their plan for killing someone?? Are you freaking kidding me!? There aren't about 2 billion easier ways to kill somebody??? And Alex's son, while she's talking to him in the holding cell, the kid acted like he was mentally challenged, "uh...you mean they're going to send me to jail?" Wow...the writers have to be writing this as a cop show parody as they can't honestly think these ridiculous storylines are even remotely close to being believable.

It's nice for the visuals though...

I thought the same thing, Is Alex's kid retarded?
Alex: What are you doing with that knife in your hand?
Kid: Nuthin'
Alex: Who gave you those drugs?
Kid: Whut?

And you're not kidding about the whole planning out of the murder. Did they think it was going to look like an accident that a piece of slate fell from the sky? Who would ever actually think that up in real life as a way to kill someone? They didn't think to drown him or run him over or stab him (and leave the knife sticking in him)? Lately at the end of each episode I ask myself, "Why do I keep watching this show?" I think I put more effort into watching it than the writers do writing it.

I'm glad Khandi Alexander is gone. I loved her in "Newsradio" but couldn't stand her in this show.

Alexx did look good all the episode, even with her worried expression and all.

We still have Calleigh, Boa Vista, Valera for some eye candy, don't worry about it..

I wonder if they bringing back Yelina... haven't seen her since the Brazil episode..

Glad I DVRed this week's episode so it was easy to bail out half way through. A first here; believe I've watched all the Vegas/Miami/NYC episodes before this. -- John

I keep forgetting that this show does follow 4 CBS comedies, so CSI:Miami must make for a complete comedy Monday on CBS.

She always came off as creepy to me. Talking to the corpses in that way.

Interesting addition to her acting resume, "I was the Medical Examiner on CSI:Miami for 17 seconds".
