This was a pre-01 car.

I'm sure sunglasses will get up, pull the bullet out, call 911 says he needs backup, dive into the water, jimi the lock so the trunk will open, give her air, pull her up, give her mouth to mouth again, the ambulance will drive up, he will put on his glasses, and then say some cheesy line while walking away and putting his glasses back on.

YES!!! And that's why I like the show. Give me campy, cheesy Horatio, aka Batman, and I'll be a happy man. It's fantasy. I hate shows that take themselves too seriously. I still hate the fact that they've taken away Horatio's little quips right at the beginning of the show before The Who song; every once in a while he gets one in, but that used to be the hallmark of the show. I miss it.

Horrible, just horrible. Checked back in because it was the season finale and to see Natasha Henstridge. The writers and actors have mailed it in. H is just pitiful, collecting a pay-check, no wonder the ratings have dropped. Nice to see the Sergeant get whacked up-side his head, he has been annoying since he was on Jag... If this show isn't on the bubble, it should be....

+1

I muttered this under my breath as she was trying in vain to dial the cell once again.

Well then, check back out and don't look back. I'm guessing most of us like it because it is a bit cheesy. As for ratings, CBS didn't do the show any favors by moving it to Sunday night; looks like they're trying to kill it. It's a shame; it's a fun show.

Exactly... I miss the quips also.

Absolutely hilarious.

Perp: "Lt. Caine."
Horatio: "You help me, and I'll help you."
Perp: "You're already dead, brother."
*Horatio shoots perp after having a gun pulled on him.*
Horatio: "Join the club."
YYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

AMC Acquires Off-Network Rights To CSI: Miami', Boosting Series' Renewal Chances
By Nellie Andreeva, Deadline.com - December 9th, 2011

This is an odd pairing Don Draper and Horatio Caine will now be on the same network! In its first off-network acquisition, AMC, home of Mad Men, Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead, has picked up off-network rights to CBS' veteran procedural CSI: Miami. The deal with CBS Television Distribution, said to be worth tens of millions of dollars, covers the existing 10 seasons of CSI: Miami as well as Seasons 11 and 12 if produced. (Today's deal certainly increases the chances of the show continuing on CBS beyond the current 10th season). With the exception of Seasons 11 and 12, which AMC would get exclusively, the pact is non-exclusive. A&E, which had been the exclusive cable home of CSI: Miami, will continue to air the show from 6 AM-4 PM. AMC is getting fringe and primetime rights with a 4 PM-6 AM window. The drama starring David Caruso will make its debut on AMC on January 2 at 5 PM and will air in the hour Monday through Friday.

CSI: Miami is part of the hugely popular CSI franchise and one of the most-watched series in the world. As a procedural, it also is highly repeatable, which is key for cable networks looking for ways to enhance their lineups. As an hourlong, CSI: Maimi will also give AMC flexibility scheduling-wise. So far, the network had been able to complement its original series only with movies, which are harder to schedule because of their varying length. Still, CSI: Miami, a meat-and-potatoes procedural that has never been nominated for major awards, seems like an odd companion to AMC's lineup of acclaimed originals. Additionally, it is interesting that in its evolution, AMC is taking a direction opposite to the conventional one. Most cable networks start with off-network product and gradually expand into originals; AMC established itself as a strong original series player before venturing into off-network acquisitions.

Horatio is still the king of cheese....

If only there were more cops like Horatio...the world would be a better place to live....and cheesy one liners would be king.

Long live H!!!!

Sales of sunglasses would go through the roof. With the proviso that they usually be removed when near the end of a swaggering sentence.

CSI Miami posters fell asleep for 4 months! wow

Taylor Cole added to the cast until last Sunday.. oh well I wanted her for one more season..

I had this dream of her being in a Prison break 2 show with badass assassin Katrina Law that appeared last week.

Was that the season finale for CSI Miami? Man, that ending took the cake for "feel good" "sappiness" ending of the year.....

And H is STILL the king of schmaltz.....
Katrina Law?!, Tayor Cole?!, Eva LaRue?!, Mr. Awesome!? Hot Damn! Then David Caruso with his same ****ing turn emotionless pose says hold on a min and ****ing kills it all...

edit: OMFG, I dunno how I'm getting sucked into watching these CSI shows. I think I'll be tuning in weekly for this one too. David Caruso you ****ing suck as much as Sandra Bullock...

It's Official: CBS Cancels CSI: Miami'
By Nellie Andreeva, Deadline.com - May 13, 2012

Horatio Caine is taking off his shades for good- CBS just confirmed that indeed, CSI: Miami will not be back next season. This is the first series from the CSI franchise to get off the air. Despite strong international sales and a fresh off-network syndication deal with AMC that would've covered an 11th season, CSI: Miami was the more expensive of the two spinoffs. Here is a statement from the network:

CSI: Miami leaves an amazing television legacy - a signature look and style, global popularity and as a key player in CBS's rise to the top over the past decade. We thank all the producers - led by Jerry Bruckheimer, Jonathan Littman and Ann Donahue and its talented cast, led by David Caruso, for 10 outstanding seasons. Viewers around the world will continue to enjoy rebroadcasts of CSI: Miami in syndication and on key digital platforms for many years to come.

As H would say, "Somebody pulled the plug for good this time".

I'm telling you, make a show With Taylor Cole, Katrina Law and maybe Eva La Rue.. would be awesome..

So long H... your cool sunglasses are off permanently..
I will miss the hot babes that always were in the show in the begining or getting arrested

I hope Caruso's sunglasses have a good agent.

These replies are great

Yeah, lots of eye candy on this show. I "used" to really like this show.

I will also miss the adorably cheesy dialogue and excellent POA.

Well Horatio gave ups plenty of meme inspiration.. nice legacy...

Looking for that H meme about show cancellation right now..

I was a loyal viewer who all along knew it was a humongous turd. Thank you CBS for putting me out of my misery.
Of all the CSI series this was the only one I didn't watch. I tried early on but just didn't care for the odd color scheme they used as well as the main detective. If one of the series had to go I'm glad it was this one, was kind of worried about NY but it sounds like it's got the go ahead for now
post #629 of 635
I will miss the plethora of white pants ladies in high heels who investigated each crime. Their high heels clicking as they walked onto the screen or as they chased after a thug. Tight tops and shapely hips never looked so good amongst blood and gore. And Horatio calling out "Frank...." will be sorely missed.

Which reality TV show will be replacing this in the Sunday time slot?
Just caught Taylor Cole in Sunday night's Hawaii 5-0 Episode.

She was in a bra in case anyone DVR'd it and didn't sit down to watch it yet...
