I didn't. They were just taken at different times after I changed the background picture

Very nice setup here. I really enjoy looking at everyone else's to get idea's and stuff. Keep it up!

Love them A10 shots. Keep them comin'

Here's my setup....just got the 360 Friday. It rocks! Not the best pictures, should have used a tripod. And the lighting isn't the best with 500 watts of reef aquarium lighting next to the entertainment center.

The surround system is a cheapo HTIB...audio is definitely my next upgrade.

THe light streaming in from behind the TV with the closed shade really makes that in-car shot of driving the Enzo look awesome

What display is that..what size, I mean...
I hadn't really noticed that...the intensity of the light from the aquarium matches the intensity of the background in PGR. It is pretty cool. The display is a 42" plasma (LG 42PX5D).

I have two pictures in my gallery and I will have more very soon.

goat19 you need to grab the silver faceplate. It goes well with the SA HDDVR.
frank, i hear ya. just not sure if i'll like the look of silver faceplate with the white box....when you are standing, you can see almost the whole top of the xbox cuz it's so low.
I get my 360 in 24 hours. Took me 4 hours to hook all my gear up. It was a mess before. just bought the KFE42A10 2 days ago...here it is...and my pc gaming room.
i didn't know how to insert them as images so I guess they show up as attachments.

goat,

I had the same concern but picked it up anyway. It really doesn't look bad and unless your up very close you do not really notice the white. I will try to post some pics tonight when I get home from work.

Order the deacalgirl.com skin for the top/bottom. Next up is a trip to a model store for some matching silver paint to paint (carefuly!) the vents on the top.

Win what? Your screen is bigger than everyone else's or are you saying you are either hiding or insecure about something?

I'm sure that he was just kidding since he has to know that there are many people on AVS with HT set-ups that blow his away . Besides there is no way to win this type of thing since we all have different tastes . So I would not take his comment seriously .

Hey, Frank - I'm assuming you're happy with your skin? Any problems applying it? Is the only white peaking out at the vent holes.

Looks very nice in the pic - I'm kind of afraid that it might look a little cheesy, but I like the way yours turned out.
The skins were very easy to apply. It sticks to the plastic, but its not permanent. Its easy to remove and reapply if you do not have it lined up correctly. The skins do not cover the vents. But go all the way to the endges and is quite durable.

SOWK, your walls are white, what exactly do you win?

Well, I don't know about blow mine away. But I'm sure there is better BUT... You also probably don't relize what speakers I have. I pretty sure I would be in the top 10% on AVS for Audio Quality.

On Video Quality, yeah I would say in the top 25% of AVS. Using a very tweaked Sony HS51, all 1:1 mapping thru VGA!

If I had a ruby, I could say the top 10% then as well. hehe.

Also, I wish I had dark grey walls though.

Marko...

I am about to pull the trigger on the SXRD...but in that 3rd pic I see some serious ghosting....is just my eyes or something the camera caught or what?

BTW...why are you running in 1080i? I thought the SXRD takes 720p/1080i and upconverts to 1080p???

Also..can you post screen shots of some other 360 games on your set?

Thanks!

Sorry for speaking out of turn, and someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the SXRD is a fixed pixel display that displays everything at 1080p (1920x1080).

The rendering of the Xbox 360 is 720p for most games and I believe has the ability to do 1080i if the software allows, but can output either 720p or 1080i resolutions depending on what resolution is selected in the video menu. The Xbox 360 cannot output 1080p.

When talking about the resolution of HD sets, remember that there are two resolutions: the source resolution and the display resolution. The display resolution can be variable, like with analog CRT or multisynch monitors, or fixed like LCD, DLP, etc. For the later, any input (standard def, 480p, 720p, 1080i, etc.) gets converted to fixed resolution.

So in the case of the SXRD, all source resolutions (480i, 720p, 1080i and more) is displayed at 1080p.

panic, in your pictures (nice) do you have a silver skin on? or just the silver faceplate? if it's just the faceplate, i definitely see your point about not really noticing the white of the rest of the box

I thought you were playing around also, but now I see you really are arrogant. FTW!!111! Looking through the gallery here I can tell you that your whole setup is far from top %10, the people with dedicated theaters is more than I previously thought. You also have to remember that some of the top dogs do not want to post specs or pics of their systems for obvious reasons, you know some people are humble even if they are rich. Then again, what do I know, I am just a poor guy struggling to setup a basic system.

No skins, only using the silver faceplate. BTW how do you guys post the higher resolution pics? I had to down rez to 640x480 and attach.
