Off topic again, many apologies. When my EH69 was going out, the duplicates I was making using the CopyPal were failing. When it failed, the CopyPal stopped mid-copy and ejected BOTH source and target disks. I then brought out my Microboards duplicator and started doing the Test&Copy option, and sure enough it flagged the original (from the EH69) as a bad disk. Since I quit using the EH69, the disks have been fine. So, if you see both trays are extended, I would be concerned about the quality of the original. I was, naturally, suspecting the media first, but in the case, it was the recorder. The CopyPal was correctly flagging the (source) disks as bad.
Again I have to say, the CopyPal is a pretty good little machine, fast, and the price was unbeatable. It doesn't have the options of my Microboards, but at half the price, it does what it says it does.
