If I don't like them I'll just cut my wrists. Well, maybe not.
Good job on letting your ears be the judge. Hopefully you will still have the 15's with the 703's come in and you can compare them. I did and I wont tell you my results so as not to taint yours

To expound on this a bit more, with either speaker you really need a sub regardless, so why not get the newer ones. In addition the Polk LSi series is over 10 years old and it was time to modify it to let it be more marketable. With the current state of the market and the glut of cheap AVR's with HORRIBLE built in amps unable to truly handle 4 ohm loads, it made sense to redesign the entire line.
They now have a high, mid and low range driver in their bookshelf model and augment that with either a sub driven by your amp (705) or by a built in amp (707). In addition they have managed to make them 8 ohms rather than 4 allowing folks to not need a dedicated amp to use them. This doesnt mean you shouldnt use/get a dedicated amp as they will sound MARKEDLY better on it, but it is something you dont
need right off the bat, unlike the LSi's.
Overall they have taken a GREAT speaker in the LSi series and made it able more availible to the average joe with a AVR without pre-outs and also tweaked the sonic signature to fix some of the issues folks have mentioned were inherent to the LSi series.
Personally I wont be moving to the LSiM series as I still very much enjoy my LSi speakers and for their going rate cant beat the price/performance of them. I dont see myself upgrading to the LSiM's until something major drops in price, if even then.
When I move to my next AVR which will be a Pio Elite 67 or similar model I might think about it. Or I might just mod my LSi speakers and go from there.
Either way Stanley, A/B the two and let me know your thoughts. Very interested in them.
