As a personal opinion, which one? :-)

I've got 75T's and a 25C. Get whatever one youwant. Which one looks better with your existing speakers? I'd go with that one. And if you choose the 25C, definitely wait for a better price from newegg. Because it will happen. Just be patient. smile.gif Much easier said by the man with the speaker already.biggrin.gif

Oh, man. I wish you had told me to get the CS2. That way I could order it right now. biggrin.gif

You're right, you're right. Patience is a virtue and I will wait for the 25c to go on sale on newegg.

Thanks!

It's good your learning patience now. If you plan to have any kind of A/V as a hobby it's best to learn it now. Because it will be needed many times throughout the yrs. Oh and also start to slowly and gently explain to the wife that you will never be done! Just a little advice from one brother to another. I'm sure my fellow Polkies can come up with some more great advice.

I was indeed expecting to have a more balanced response at my room with the addition of XS30. But, this thing has taken my system to a whole new level (bass wise). I was playing some of those demo discs, specifically the Underworld Awakening - huge lycan scene...................bass coming out of the 3 subwoofers is just ridiculous!!!

Lots of moving things around and running calibration.
Monitors are in the Family room now and the LSiM are sitting in the living room with the LV12R. Still debating If I want to bother with an amp yet.

I race, but I'm not quite "skilled" to handle four wheels yet, so I'm relegated to two biggrin.gif

How did I miss this! Awesome pic. I grew up on dirt bikes but nothing very fast. My first car was quite the handful. 69 Camaro SS. I did a lot of street racing in that. Loved it. Now I'm relegated to sim racing. Cheaper (but not cheap) and safer than real racing. Nothing can replace that feeling of being thrown back in the seat as you listen to the engine to hit your shift marks. I had a tach but rarely used it. I knew that motor so well all I needed was to hear it. Ah, youth.

Good morning everybody!!!!!!!! Tis a beautiful day .. and now its time for what you have been waiting for ... PICTURES!!!!!!

First off I want to tell everyone that It sounds as good as it looks. biggrin.gif

Sorry for quality of photos. they were all done with an iPhone.

The 929 is a beast compared to my HTiB receiver. There are so many places to plug things in!! LOL real professional I know.
I'm running it with the Onkyo app on my Kindle Fire HD. It works really well. And since i don't have a Harmony remote its really my only option.
The Audyssey XT32 is awesome. My last receiver only used 3 locations. Moving up to 8 locations to calculate is very beneficial in my large awkward room. And its very noticeable in sound quality .
I really prefer the OSD on this one compared to the old school DOS looking one i'm used to. I haven't been able to test out any movies yet. but i did listen to some music earlier. And i love Pure Audio .. it makes the music so full and all encompassing. I will be playing some blu-rays later today. My best friend of like 12 years is coming over. And he is one of those guys thats like. Eh all speakers sound the same .. LOL... I think he is in for a surprise. he is running a Vizio 2.0 sound bar from wal-mart .. This should sound a little better.

All my stuff on the rack behind my tv.. and i still room under my hopper for an external Amp .. sssshhhhhhh .. i need to break it to my wife slowly

Now for the really good stuff.

My front sound stage in all its glory!!

Hows that for some "Nudies" Stanley .. lol .. I was really impressed with the quality of the Sanus speakers stands. The adjustable carpet spikes. The high quality looking finish which match my Rtia's nicely. However the CC stand tops it off. With adjustable bolts on the front to angle it up at the listener .. Wow.. very easy to put together nice and sturdy .. HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for really good stands..

My speaker cables are Audioquest Rocket 33's. They are expensive(got a %75 discount) but man they are gorgeous to look at. heavy Duty and very well assembled. I'm sure they are much better than what my attempts would have been to make my own nice looking cables.

now time for surrounds and some shots to get an idea of our whole room. One from each of the four corners.

As you can see... Our room is huge .. Its 3 in one.. LOL .. But the Audyssey takes care of its crazy dimensions without breaking a sweat ..

The FXia's have some SIIG flat speaker wire running under the carpet to them. Not the highest gauge(16AWG) .. but i don't have bumps in the carpet, it gets the job done and the wife is happy without the lumps in the carpet.. Can i really complain .. you saw what else she let me do .. lol .. Compromise... happy wife makes a happy life.. and whoa . i didn't realize how big the FX's are .. but they fit on the stands just fine.. My surround backs are still the monitor 35's(for now) they just have speaker wire fished down the wall behind them. they'll work for surround back duty until i get my A3's ... or maybe another pair of FX's if i like them enough... but thats my system in a nutshell .. a big nutshell .. i will post more on sound and features as i get to use them but so far just from the little bit of music i have listened to .. I have no doubts there will be multiple eargasms going on in my house .. biggrin.gif

as for sub.... ORDERED IT TODAY!!!! should be here monday or tuesday

Those LSiM's sure have a nice finish on them. One of the best I've ever seen for sure.

Room and equipment look great.  Love the center stand.

Also agree that TV is way to small compared to everything else.

How long is your hdmi run from receiver to tv? are you using redmir? How do you have the tv audio hooked up to the receiver?

:-)

Even without that when you compare it to the wall it's on and the A9's, and A6 it still looks small. And he upgraded everything else so let's spend more money. eek.gif

My living room set is a 50" but the wall is small and it only has 4's and CSi3 around it.

I agree of course. Nothing like a big arse screen. He'll probably get there eventually.
