I know, just waiting here to receive your call, so I can pull the trigger on this bad boy.

I have Stan's credit card information ready. But, the 2 dollars that he has available aren't going to help much.........mad.gif

My problem is I have my card number memorized so hiding it from myself doesn't even help. That's why I only have two bucks.

Hey Enrico, I'll give you two bucks if you call me before you call Carlos.

No idea. I've had them for awhile and I can't find any model number on them. They're small rear surround speakers that I have mounted on a tall stand.

Oh, and I'm located in eastern North Carolina.

So any suggestions for surrounds with this setup???

We have nothing in B-stock at this moment. I think by the end of the week we'll have an LV12R from a customer who returned it because it was to big for his living room. Most of the B-stock units are units with minor scratches made by us during assembling.

I may be looking for a 15" sub fairly soon. If you were to accidently fall on one and scratch it I'd be good with that.  :p

Yeah, I guess that is a poor way of asking him to let me know if they get a B stock 15".

Was referring to your apartment neighbor. I wake up every morning hopping Enrico will make a b-stock f25 tongue.gif

I'm back. I've been trying to fix the damn water filter. One of the carbon cylinders cracked, and flooded the damn kitchen. Now, I can't find the damn parts since it was a custom installation. Luckily my landlord is a cool guy, and got a hold of the guy who installed it, and he is coming by tomorrow in the afternoon to put a whole new system.

At the same time, I decided to work on the damn car as well...which was a REALLY BAD IDEA. You know how some parts are easy to take out, but to put the damn part back in you need like super tiny hands or take the whole engine out! mad.gif Yeah, needless to say I'm leaving that for tomorrow. I'm having a few Bluemoons before bed.

Stanley, Stan, Grouch...what the hell you want me to call him. biggrin.gif
post #27255 of 35349
By the way, I've got Stanley's address too!

The Pios are good speakers and a lot of people love them. They were the first speakers I listened to before purchasing my new ones and they sounded pretty good...until I heard Polk. After that, every
time I heard the Pios they sounded muddy. That's when I discovered I like a more forward speaker...buy you may not. Both are entry level and will give you good bang for the buck but you should listen to them both to see what you like.

A good read on how to run Audessy properly: http://www.avsforum.com/t/795421/official-audyssey-thread-faq-in-post-51779/51750#post_21782993

Thanks for the replies!!! I always do an Audyssey Cal whenever anything changes including speaker or listening position. I always use all 8 lp's to calibrate using the recommended mic placement illustration. I always set the speakers to small and set the crossover for the sub at 80Hz. The sub is a starter BIC F-12. I am very familiar with the Audyssey FAQ's as it is bookmarked on the browser.smile.gif

I have purchased the RTi8's this morning. A late Christmas present from my wife. I will let her know what she bought me when she wakes up.tongue.gif

The guy who bought my FV15HP put it up for sale last night and I'm thinking of grabbing it back from  him. Off to work today so I'll have plenty of time to think about it while I twiddle my thumbs.
