On 2005-Dec-15 I contacted the Westinghouse sales department regarding the MSRP and availability of the Westinghouse 42" LCD Monitor model number LVM-42w2. More details are available at this Westinghouse product web site:
:( NOTE: I would have posted a web link but the "on-line message editor" stopped me because this is my first post. So you'll have to go to the "westinghousedigital" dot "com" site and hunt it down yourself. I found it in a page called "p-44-42-lcd-video-monitor.aspx"
It is expected to be availability "in Q1 2006". And will have the MSRP of "$2799.00".
I don't have any more details than that but, since I haven't seen anything else posted about this model on the forum I thought I'd mention it. I suspect this model will be a bigger version of LVM-37w1 which is heavily discussed on this forum. Like the LVM-37w1 the LVM-42w2 does 1080p and I suspect will accept 1080p on it's inputs. If you have any other questions about it you should contact
 NOTE: For the same reason as the note above the e-mail address is being editted so you'll have to piece it together yourself but it's "sales" at "westinghousedigital" dot "com".
Also, for my fellow Canadians on the forum, Westinghouse, according to their sales department, doesn't have any brick-and -mortar channels in Canada. The sales department informed me "you would have to purchase from
website, like Best Buy, PC Mall, J&R."
