Can you please PM me the procedure? I do not wish to tamper with anything else, just the overscan. I think I'm at about 5-7% on the sides and a lil less on the top.

I am a pretty tech savy guy but If you could be as "LEYMAN" as possible, that would be great.

Thanks a bunch.

patiently waiting. Just wanted to toss in a reminder.

Just purchased a new Samsung SyncMaster 215TW 21" LCD monitor. It works great with everything else except when I hook up my HDTV tuner via DVI or VGA inputs. The picture is still squished (l to r), even after I adjust the "Coarse" setting in the "Image Lock" section of the user menu to the maximum.

I'm sure this problem could be fixed in the service menu, but I can't access it. Would anyone know the code, or sequence to get into the service menu, so that I don't have to lug the monitor all the way back to Best Buy for an exchange? Thanks in advance.

* Mechanical Software
* MagicRotation (Auto Pivot)
* Built-in Speaker
* Various video input (CVBS, S-Video, Component)

Note: Requires optional HDTV tuner/decoder to receive and display HDTV programs.

I got into the service menu - anyone know why the power button on my TV turns the TV off but not on? All the Buttons on the TV were locked out in the service menu when i bought it - Floor display - but was locked by samsung. I played a bit in the service menu with it and was able to unlock all of them (source, menu, chan +/- and VOl +/-), but for some reason the TV power button don't turn the TV back on when I press power. Did i miss a setting? Anyone that can help? Samsung ln-r238w.

Thanks,
Kris

I have the European version of Hisense TA42P HDRA(Its called Firstline here in Sweden).

Could someone(skyboy3 are you there somewhere?)or somebody else send me the service code for this plasma. I want to permanently disable the orbiter-function, and the noise reduction(called "Madi", "Ladi" and "film" on this specific model).

Thank you.
