nfa1934 posted some description of the service menu settings long time ago:

MTS:

MTSIN (input level)
SEPAL (low frequency separation)
SEPAH (high frequency separation)

VIDEO:

COLOR (color adjust)
TINT (tint adjust)
BRIGH (sub-brightness)
CONT (sub-contrast)
B-Y_G (color adjust, magenta)
CUT G (green cutoff)
CUT R (red cutoff)
CUT B (blue cutoff)
BRT (temp brightness)
R DR (red drive)
B DR (blue drive)

(A definition for R-Y_A was not listed)

I have the Service Manual for the TH-42PA20U which is similar to the 42PD25U. If you want a copy of it, send me a PM with a request.

Hi!

Is there anyone out there who could contact me with a service menu code for a CRT set - Samsung WS32M204D?

The Samsung service codes I've found on the net don't seem to work on this model.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Once I get into the service menu what setting do I want to tweak and is there a list of what everything listed in the service menu does?

Excellent thread...

I am the proud owner of a Mitsu WD-52525 and I would like to access the service menu and make corrections to my Overscan issues.

Can you please PM me the procedure? I do not wish to tamper with anything else, just the overscan. I think I'm at about 5-7% on the sides and a lil less on the top.

I am a pretty tech savy guy but If you could be as "LEYMAN" as possible, that would be great.

Thanks a bunch.

Hello!

Looking for service menu access codes for the Akai PDP5006H 50" plasma. The Akai codes on BruZZi's site do not work for this model. This unit has an RS-232 port, which the manual says is for connecting to a PC, but doesn't say for what purpose, or what kind of cable is required. Maybe the service menu is accessed via PC? Any pointers on how to get a service manual would be much appreciated.

Reds are too pink, and yellows are a little too green, but I can't get rid of these issues from the user menus.

Thanks for your hard work!!

Just purchased this LG set, and I love it except for the ever so subtle green push. I tried the code provided on the site but it did not work. Please PM me the code if at all possible.

Can anyone help me with the service code for the following CRT set? Prima HT3461.
Hello.

I am currently using an Insignia Model IS-TV040927 HDTV as a monitor in an arcade cabinet. I need to be able to adjust the overscan settings on this unit and the manufacturer warranty is not a concern for me.

I've found several posts on accessing the 'service mode' via hidden buttons inside the remote. The problem is that I purchased this unit from Best Buy as an open item...so no remote for me.

I've tried ordering a new remote through Best Buy's Part Search site...however the item has been on backorder for quite some time.

SO...my question for everyone is: Is there any other way to access service mode on these units, from inside the case? Or can I program one of my universal remotes to transmit the code(s) necessary to activate 'service mode?' I have both the Phillips Pronto Pro and the Microsoft/Harmon Kardon T1000 remotes available to me.

ANY assistance and/or direction provided would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Brent

Sorry, I don't have experience with Philips TVs. Try the link on the second post of that thread.

There's a way to access the service menu by open the remote control and pushing a hidden button. But I'm not sure if that applies for the Insignia Plasmas TVs. The info is now available on my site.
