I recently purchased a pair of MM-4 speakers, as well as a pair of in-ceiling A-615 speakers. Wow. The MM-4's replaced a pair of Polk Audio M10 speakers that I returned (too big, small sound). The MM-4s are amazing, and I cannot be more happy with them. I am in the process of hooking up the A615s, but my brother-in-law and father-in-law own them, and they sound amazing. I cannot wait.

I think RBH speakers are amazing, and cannot believe the sound they are able to generate. I will update this site when the A 615's are hooked up..

I have to admit this is one of the best threads on the forum.

From what I read RBH has a good product line as no one has had any negative comments.

My biggest decision now is whether I use the 1266SE's or 661SE's.

Should I use SVS Subs or use something from RBH?

Anyone using SVS Subs with their setups.

The festival was a blast. Most venues are free and we managed to grab some good tables, met some great music fans and did not have to operate a motor vehicle until it was time to head home.

I am using a SVS cylinder sub in my bedroom. Performs great with a Yamaha YSP 1000. It is rather large though and is hidden behind the display/component console.

I have never listened to an rbh sub.

Looking at a set in basic black veneer. 3 661SE/R's, 2 66SE/R Surrounds and 2 61SE/R Rears.

Is the upgrade worth the added cost?

I read a review on the Rs, but cannot find the link now. ...thought they were discontinued....

Had I seen the Rs on the web site I would have ordered them. But that's just me. If you get'em and would rather have an almost new set of non-Rs that is basic black AND nicely broken in let me know.

They never had them on the website for some reason. Here's a review!

Anybody own the TK-5CT's? Lower cost, but they look great. Wondering how they sound.

Just so everybody knows, Media Bang is having a huge clearance on RBH speakers. I just picked a set up 1044-SE, a 441-SE, and 12-SE all in gloss black. I got a pair of 66-SE and d 44-SE, in ash black for the rears. They are nearly discounting them at 50% off, based upon stock. It's happening this Saturday and Monday (26th & 28th May). I'm not affiliated with Media Bang; just wanted to pass the savings to new RBH owners.

Glad to see that there are some other RBH owners on AVS. I found these speakers about six or seven years ago when I was looking for in-wall speakers for a home theater room. RBH makes some good ones. Due to the wife my theater room morphed into a huge family room. I have one end (19' x 16') of it set up for home theater with four RBH SI-760's and a 661-SE for the center channel. I have a NHT powered sub for the low end. Great sound from these speakers.

Having been a Mirage owner for many years, I decided to venture into different territory. I only live a few blocks away from RBH so I thought I would try them out. OMG, these speakers are great!!! I'm thinking about picking up a 5.1 speaker system for bedroom since I heard those today!!!

I discovered these speakers after months of searching for In-wall speakers on-line. At that time I only found two manufacturers that made in-wall speakers with enclosurers, Sonance and RBH. I had a hard time finding a way to hear these speakers. RBH gave me a name of a guy that lived 150 miles from me. I went to this guys house and listened to his RBH speakers. I did not even get to listen to the RBH speakers that I wanted to buy. His speakers sounded so good that I decided to go ahead and buy RBH speakers for my room.

Just checking in...when I started this thread about 1 1/2 years ago, I was flush with excitement over my new RBH setup. My RBH speakers are pretty basic compared to many others' RBH setups, but it's the best I have ever owned by far, and still brings a big smile to my face.

1 1 /2 years later I'm still flush with excitement and selling RBH speakers to my friends every time someone new comes over and hears what they can do. They start out saying "RBH? Who?" and end up saying "How do I get more information on these!?"

Very glad this thread is still alive and kicking!

I agree... I've had mine for about a year now, and they are the only part of my HT where I never feel a need for an "upgrade".

You'd think RBH dealers are on the Protected Witness Program, they are so difficult to find and get to. Too bad. I was set to audition/buy a set, but there are none within a couple hundred miles of me. Nicely kept secret by RBH, I guess.

They seem to be!!! I guess it's good that I live in Layton, Utah (the same city RBH is located). Mudslide, let me know what set you're looking for and I'll check on them for you. You can PM me and we'll go from there.

Uh oh... I ordered 2!

On another note, before I ordered these, I called RBH(great to talk to) to see what other subs are coming down the pipe. They said they are working on one now that goes so deep and loud(I think he said down to 14), the only problem is they cant seem to find a way to stop the actual sub from moving around the room!

Thanks Dave. But I've already gone in a different direction.

I really like all the good press that RBH seems to get and it got me quite interested. BUT... and it's a big BUT ... speakers are so integral to personal tastes that I won't buy something I can't hear first. Further, I've been hit up for hundreds on shipping (returning) speakers from ID brands I didn't care for. If RBH wants to do an Aperion (shipping paid both ways) kind of operation, I'll go for it. But they've chosen to sell through installers. Not the best business model, IMHO. Hopefully I'll someday happen upon an owner who will invite me to listen.

After much research, I've decided on RBH. Specifically, I'm looking to buy three 661SER's, two 66SE's, and one 12SE subwoofer. Prices seem to be all over the board when speaking to dealers and looking at online prices. Who's got the best deal out there. Need your advice! Thanks!

Well, I got this setup about 2 months ago. Unbelievable sound. I had the SI-6100's mounted on the wall behind the screen. The front 3 were around 5K, what a value. Its sounds like 15K worth of speakers coming from behind the screen.

I am interested in upgrading my system to 7.1. To do this I need two more 661-SE speakers. Where is a good place to buy these. I live in Kentucky.
