Are the drivers in the SM450 the same as the BP7000/7001? I just received 8 from Baja's eBay auction for 6.5" 7000/7001 listing, and the labels on the boxes all say SM450 6.5" mid on them.

No I put it under the LCD. I don't have it wired to the sub output. I just use speaker wired. I would imagine you could experience some vibration depending on the type of entertainment center you choose. DT recommends only 1" of Clearance for the sub on top.

You would need to remove the brass jumpers... and if you are doing this you realize you are cutting off the frequency of the center channel from about 90hz on down if not even a little higher, if you are not using the RCA for the Low end. So in retrospect you are rendering your center useless for Midbass.|
