What do YOU think of the JVCs? I looked at them awhile back, before the Samsungs, and I think my understanding was basically:
- Awful bulb/light engine life (and JVC was not owning up to this)
- Awful customer service
- Average picture (I don't recall much good or bad)
- no 1080p input (I checked the other day and this was true for the set I looked at, though I'm really not sure if there is a newer set than what I saw)
And of course the Sonys had the green blob problem, plus I'd heard about the possibility of LCDs fading over time (dunno if that is true for LCoS), so all that sent me running back to check out the DLP camp once more, despite the RBE, and I settled on the 5679W, but now I'm having some second thoughts, and open to other possibilities.
Please feel free to correct me, and tell me your opinions.
