Can't hurt to give them a call. I ordered RC-10's and RC-70's and got a call yesterday afternoon telling me that the RC-10's will arrive a few days after the RC-70's (I guess they oversold). That being said, I have not received shipping information for either.

I didn't create an account with World Wide Stereo when I purchased my RC-30s, but just used Amazon payments. I too was wondering if my order was processed, so I sent an email through Amazon Payments which they forward on to World Wide Stereo. WWS responded immediately this morning with UPS tracking numbers... my order was processed and shipped yesterday and I will have them tomorrow! Awesome..

Same problem here... No shipping confirmation.

Has anyone ever ordered speakers from Data Vision? datavis.com They look like they are a B&M store in NY. They have the RC-70's for a pretty pretty good price. They say NIB with a full US warranty. I emailed them to see if they were a authorized dealer, so hopefully I will know sometime soon.
Datavision is not on the Energy/Klipsch list of online dealers nor the authorized B&M dealers. You may want to call Energy to verify. Could just be an oversight.

Great prices though! They actually carry some Veritas speakers too!

hi, what would you use for a center with c-500 fronts, a c-200 bookshelf or c-c100 center, i can stand the c-200 upright.
if you have room to place it vertically, I would go with the C-200. Vertical speakers have inherent advantages....

Ok I have a new question. I've decided to stick with the RC-10s as mains, and I've ordered an Emotiva 12" sub. Now I need to pick up some rears and a center. I know some have recommended putting an RC-10 as the center, but what about the rears? Do RC-Rs offer an advantage over RC-10s? How about the RC-minis?

This is all being powered by a new Denon 3311ci amp (125w per channel).

So basically -

1. Center - RC-10/LCR/mini-CC?
2. Rears - RC-10/RC-R/RC-mini?

Which combination do you think will be best? It doesn't have to be at insane volumes. I'm just after clarity and feeling like I'm actually in the movie.
Also, my couch is against the rear wall, so speakers will be there as well (room is 19x13x8)

I JUST got my shipping confirmation but I didn't get that low of a price. I managed to get $270 with the 10% off, but that was good enough for me to jump.
Got my shipping confirmation today. I ordered twice. First order 2x RC-70s + pair of RC-10s. Second order for a second pair of RC-10s. So I'll end up with 2x RC-70s and 4x RC-10s. All of this going into a 1080 cu ft section of a 2330 cu ft room. This should be enough for now. If not, I'll get a RC-LCR and maybe RC-R. Being able to flush mount the surrounds is a huge plus in tight configuration I have planned.

Next up is a subwoofer though and I'm deciding between a Submersive and one of the Rythmiks. Anyone here with an Energy system able to comment how well any of these two subs pair with Energy speakers?

How about posting reviews of CD's that sound especially good on Energy's? I'll start off with something I've been listening to the last few days on my Onkyo/RC10/S 8.3 system(I turn off the RC Mini CC for music).

Legendary Hammond B3 master Booker T. of Booker T. and the MG's fame has a CD out called "Potato Hole". He's backed up on this effort by one of my favorite bands, the Drive-By Truckers.

This is an all instrumental CD with multiple layers of fuzzy guitars, a tough bass sound and crisp drum tracks backing an out front warm and true sounding B3 organ.

The tunes range from driving rock on "Pound It Out" to mid-tempo jazzy stuff to thumpin funk on the title track. The warm accurate sound of the RC's really compliments this CD. This music has a big forward sound and I could see how some overly bright speakers could make this sound too harsh.

I really cranked this one up in 2.1 tonight and the RC10's were amazing. I look at the size of these speakers and think there is no way they should be producing the sound they do. It's hard to imagine the music sounding any better.

I've heard "Potato Hole" might be up for a Grammy in the best instrumental category and I'd like to hear what other Energy owners think of this CD on RC's. Check it out.

What sub do you use?
I have an Energy S 8.3. Not very big or expensive, and since it's my first decent SW, I don't have much to compare it to. It seems pretty tight for music to me and shakes the room pretty good during movies to the point I need to get a sub pad to keep it from rattling the cabinets.

That's interesting. I believe it means that wwstereo has given UPS shipping information, but they have not picked up the package yet.

I sent Ira an email this morning and I have not yet heard from him. I was giving him the benefit of the doubt that he could be off or working a later shift today. But it's beginning to sound like wwstereo might have bit off more than they can chew with their weekend sales.

hello all,

ira just called, the ups tracking info is correct but i just can't access the info. ups told irs my rc-10's should arrive tomorrow (fri july 9, 2010). wwsterio & ups has a mix-up of tracking info.

ira sounds like a stand up guy, but next time i'm ordering thur amazon.
i'll keep everyone posted.

Maybe, but I did get my shipping confirmation. When I track the package, it states that UPS as received the electronic "something I don't remember, maybe bill?" I order things online all the time, this simply means that WWStereo has sent a "signal" to UPS that there is a package that needs to be picked up and shipped. That also *hopefully* means that WWStereo has the items packed and sitting in the shipping department waiting for UPS to pick up the package. I would give it a day or two to get any real tracking information in terms of delivery date and actual location of the speakers. I expect to receive my speakers either next week or the week after. UPS has been fairly good with shipping things cross country. I figure 4 to 5 working days at the most.

Relax guys. I much rather have the package take more time to arrive, but in safe condition, than have it expedited only to arrive all dented.

Even if you order thru Amazon, if wwstereo is the vendor wouldn't you have the same concerns? I've ordered several items from wwstereo and never had any issues.

Be patient, you'll get your speakers.

By the way, Amazon doesn't even have the RC-10 listed on their site right now.

wwstereo doesn't have the RC-10's on their site now either. I think they over-sold since I was told the RC-10's I ordered would arrive a couple days after the rest of my order.

Everything seems to be working out fine for me. I think wwstereo just isn't as automated as most of the online stores we're used to dealing with. Even though tracking info doesn't appear to be emailed I got the numbers over the phone with little trouble. From what I can see it looks like they upgraded me to 2nd-day shipping for free.

Ok here's my update. I received a more formal email This morning from WWS with the shipping information and my speakers were en route for delivery today. When I got home, they were waiting for me in my door. I'm Very satisfied with everything, good deal, prompt shipping and delivery.

See, told you there was no need to worry. I purchase things online almost weekly. Things, especially from Amazon often take up to a week before it even ships. Expecting a shipping confirmation within a day or two sounds unreasonable to me. I would never expect a company that deals in volume to ship out my order the same day. As long as I get a confirmation email proving they received my order and it's being processed, it's only reasonable to give them a week or two to actually ship the product, especially if the shipping is free.

I gotta disagree with you there. 2 weeks to ship a product? Amazon ships my products hours after I place an order.

I ordered a pair of RC-10s from WWS and the only email I have received is a payment confirmation from Amazon payments. My card has been charged, no email from WWS. Yesterday I responded the amazon payments screen that would send the question to WWS and I have not heard anything yet. I'm not worried about being scammed or anything, but I am a little upset about a lack of communication.

Amazon never ships my product 1 hour after I place an order. Its taken up to two weeks for me to receive orders made on Amazon too. On rare occasions sometimes longer.

Guess I need to pay the extra money for Amazon prime to get that quick shipping.

When I normally order from wwstereo, I have the product at my door within 2 days I placed the order. They always have super fast shipping. This wasn't the case this time. I'm just thinking that they oversold the RC10s on their site, and were waiting to replenish their stock. No big deal though... They've always treated me right in the past.

I would order from wwstereo any day of the week before I would order from amazon.
I'm fine with the speakers taking a week or so to be shipped, but I don't think it's unreasonable to expect SOME FORM of communication from WWS. No email confirm, no email reply to a direct question. I guess I'm just a whiner....
quick question... I set up my rc-10's and ran audissey. It set the crossover 40Hz for the center channel and 50 for the rest of the speakers. It also set at 80hz the LFE for the sub. I had to run to work so I didn't get a chance to play any movie, but u guys think those settings sound right?? I'm still reading articles on speaker calibration and I'm wondering if I should get a SPL and just do the calibration with it. Thanks and Appreciate any input.
