I hear you. LOL like I mentioned earlier today my wife is going to eventually kill me slowly and painfully.
She was glad to hear that I sold or will sell tonight my CF-70's and CC-10 and and some other gear.
I just didnt tell her yet that I replaced them with this other stuff. She wants me to get her a pallaties machine whatever that is. I asked
her does it have sound or visual, she shook her head and walked off. I guess I better figure uout what that machine actually is.

I think she meant pilates machine. You better buy her that machine, you know the old saying "Happy wife, happy life".

I did use the "Download fullsize image" link on the right of the picture. Can someone else verify the filesize of the full image? Thanks. 368 kb seems s little small...

Here's a shot of them mounted: I think this is 3 center channels [edit: below pictured is the Take LCR which is only 4.25" deep, and not so available, but would match the Take SAT]:

...Dan
They are definitely Energy Take LCR. I have 4.
I also have the Energy Take FPS as seen in my avatar which is a larger version of the LCR. I use 2 LCR for surround back duties hangin from the ceiling. The other 2 are in the bathroom biggrin.gif

I think the images are just big enough to use them in a collage, not to frame each individual one. So far 2 people here have made collages with them, so they would be able to tell us if they're grainy, etc.
yes that is right,if you sign up on that site you can get the full image size like 368 kb to 600 kb, if you are not refister by doing right click and save will only give you 12kb something like that. and yes mine was came up 2MB total for the finishing, and went to costco yesterday fot printing and it looks so good, no grainy, no pixelated. very good outcome.
The images are mostly black, so that's why the file sizes are not that big.

I agree, will look into that. One a bright note this morning after selling my CF70's last night I told my wife I have someone buying the other speakers we are using in the livingroom on Thursday. She said that great but does this mean we will have no speakers in the livingroom anymore. Thats my cue to go ahead and put the V2.2 and V2.0c in the livingroom. Love it when a plan comes together.

Yes I would not worry about file size...just open up the file once downloaded and you will see that it is high res

Took some time today and brought the V2.2 upstairs. Its a large room 31x19 with a vaulted ceiling. I wasnt sure how this was going to sound but I can say
I am very pleased with the sound these speakers produce on a pioneer vsx-03. I was always wondering what you guys that own these old Veritas meant when you were
describing the sound. The best way I can describe it is its a very full, clean and detailed sound that envelopes the whole room. Yes these are just bookshelf speakers,
but dam they are good at what they do. After having these just for 1 day, I wish I would of just started and ended with this line. Dont get me wrong the RC line and new Verita
line I have I like a lot. Im happy with these but if I ever stumble across some towers from the old Veritas line in my area I wouldnt be surprised if I brought them home. smile.gif

At this point I'm trying to figure out how to set up my Denon 3808 to run 7.1 with my RC's for movies and be able to switch to 5.1 through the V2's for SACD and DVD-Audio with my Oppo. I could never be happy again listening to music with the RC's now that I have the V2.3's.

I did something similar when I first got my 2.2's. I had an external amp powering the 2.2's. I connected the oppo to the receiver with hdmi. I connected the analog outs fl and fr to the amp, which fed the 2.2's. then I connected the center and surround analog outs from the oppo to the receiver. Go into the oppo audio settings and change the volume to variable and make sure you lower it!! Set the receiver to the multi channel input. When you want to switch back to the rc's change the audio back to hdmi. You can also use the "both" setting and see if you like it. That's about all I can remember right now.

Except that the reason I got the Oppo DV-981HD (coming from some folks in Seattle) and the Denon 3808 (also not here yet) was specifically so I could use the HDMI into the Denon for SACD via DTS. Otherwise, the Oppo converts to PCM over the analog outs. I could run your scenario out to my old Sony STR-DB930 for 5.1 to my RC70's ,RC-LCR, RC-Minis, but it ain't got HDMI OR Component so it would be for TV sound only. Meanwhile, the 3808 would feed my V2.3's, V2.2WM's, and a V2.0 ceiling mount I want to put in a box as a center. The 3808 has a choice between two surrounds so I could swap between my VS surrounds for movies and my V2.2WM's for multi-channel SACD and DVD-Audio. This was all an effort to get something working since the gomment took all my money this year so I can't do the Oppo 105/Denon 4520 that I had planned for 11.2. Maybe by next year the prices will come down and I can figure out something for a center that I'm happy with.

I can't wait to hear how you like the V2.0 center. My understanding is that the two woofers are voiced differently. They have no lobing problems that way but that plus the fact that they don't have the same tweeter/mid module as the V2.2/V2.3 may be why people have had less than glowing reviews of them.

BTW: Was listening to Sade with the V2.3's through my old Yamaha RX-1130 Receiver today. CRANKED! I felt that it really didn't need a sub. They are rated down to 35Hz, which is lower than the lowest note on a standard bass guitar. After 3 albums I felt NO fatigue. My daughter, however, was less pleased with the volume. Once again, I really recommend Sade's Lovers Live DVD. I'm also gonna order her new Sade: Bring Me Home - Live 2011 Blu-ray. This is the kind of stuff that is mesmerizing on these speakers and it makes it all worthwhile. Being able to watch her makes it that much better...mesmerizing!

Fears, I hear what your saying. I listened to her today also listened to this group my wife likes and I just heard for the 1st time. They are called Apocalyptica.
I think thats what she said. They play some mean rock on string instruments like the chello and other. Really sounded good on the v2

That v2.0ci will be here thursday will tell you what I think

Discontinued. There might be a few places out there that still have some remaining stock, but it'll be slim pickins. Energy in general seems to be on its way out, although they are promising some upcoming "exciting" products. Most people aren't expecting anything special.

If you're really desperate, you can overpay for one from Future Shop in Canada

Nah, not that desperate. I kinda figured they were on their way out. I'll find another center channel. Maybe the Sierra Horizon. thanks for the reply.

Put in tv15 in the promo code box and you will get 15% off. Makes it 339.00. Promo code still works.
Thats the best deal out there for the black V5.2 with free shipping.

O yeah, I forgot about that. Good call!

First impression of the V2.OCi its huge and heavy. Original box says 41.3 pounds ship weight. This must be a at least 35 pounds out of the box.
Yeah, like the V2.2 vs. the RC-10, it's a bit shocking at first how big the V2.0C is compared to the RC-LCR or V-5.2. Most people would already think of the RC-LCR as a big center channel, but it is dwarfed by the V2.0C.

I agree battpig, I thought the rclcr was big, not compared to this. I looked at the measurments and weight before hand, but
when you actually see it in person its a different thing. Good thing my center glass that this will sit on is rated enough to
handle this beast.

I have the original boxes that came along with the V2.2 and the V2.OC, , makes the inside packing material and outer boxes that the new Veritas
seam cheap. Very durable material the old line Veritas used.
Just listened to Riviera Paradise by Stevie Ray Vaughan, The V2.OC throws some nice bottom end, the guitar coming out of the V2.2
is very nice sounding. Really detailed sound.

Hello

Anyone can shre your gear?
RC-70 (For 2 channel) match with Music Amplifer and CD player give a better result?

My setting is
DENON PMA-2000AE
DENON DCD-1500AE
NAD- C542Bee <--Better result than Denon DCD-1500AE for music I think.

That's one of my favorite songs to demo (or show off) speakers. So well recorded.
