Have fun in South America, batpig! I put a Denon 3313 in my main home theater, and I liked it so much that I got a 2313 for my bedroom system. The 3313 replaced a Yamaha A3000, which was a critically praised receiver from 2010. To my ear, though, it doesn't hold a candle to either of my newer Denon's. And it's not just the features - like multi-zone, most of which I'll never use. There is a "3-dimensional" quality to Denon sound that I sorely missed in the Yamaha. One feature that I do love is iPod/USB playback. I've downloaded several albums at HDTracks.com (192khz/24bit and 96khz/24bit). I plug a 32GB USB flash drive into the front port and listen to pristine high resolution audio on either receiver. It sounds phenomenal.
