Having 2 S12.3 feels like an earthquake here.

I was going to go the buttkicker route but ran into a 12 inch 1300 watt Outlaw that shakes my whole room just fine :P I know Energy is awesome, but their subs have their limits. I'd look into that HSU in your area. My Outlaw sub was designed by the guy who designed that one. Granted it isn't as big but if it is anything like my Outlaw LFM-2 then it will not only give you loud bass but VERY accurate bass that could punch where your Energy subs couldn't.

I've got 2 s103s in near perfect shape for a great price for one or both.

As always you guys "rock" when it comes to advice. I've got a lot choices to choose from and probably more to come. Shipping(Pa.) a S-10.3 sounds costly and more likely damaging ,thanks for the offer. The added extension is exactly what I'm looking for whether its from a "kick in the ass "or a pressurized room that's the goal. Covert WAF is now my mission:)

I installed aura pro bass shakers under each of my four Berkline home theater recliners. Although the Buttkickers are rated higher, the Auras do a great job. The Auras are about $40 ea at Parts Express. The key is to set the amp crossover at around 40 Hz, so dialogue does not engage the shakers. Also, install rubber feet on the furniture, so as to de-couple them from the floor.

If you're not living in San Diego, you're just camping out!

Yeah, but the tradeoff is that you can look at that picture of your house, mentally chop it in half, and expect to pay more to boot wink.gif

That's why poor batpig can't have big bad subwoofers and a dedicated mancave!

Uhh...that ain't his house. That's the VIEW from his house. The view from his porch is Mt Rainier!

The other picture is my garage but I get batpigs point. This is my view from anywhere on my property but the best view is off my back deck.
This picture is Mt Rainier from the back of the house.

Almost done with the new HT for the summer in the garage. Using 2 bays for it. It rains so much 8 months
out of the year that the 4 months of summer it only rains a couple of days so I am outside most of the time
So wht not a HT setup in the big garage. Running 2 - S12.3 Out there

Been listening to my new copy of:

"Dr. Chesky's Magnificent, Fabulous, Absurd & Insane Musical 5.1 Surround Show"

To everybody that has collected the RC Series:

***Warning: Spoiler Alert!***

Sorry, but the V2.3's, V2.0C Center, and V2.0R Surrounds are just blowing me away!

I'm pumping them with a Denon 3808 along with a Mirage Omni 8 and Energy S10.3.

I'm in AURAL VALHALLA!

I can't imagine them sounding any better and I'm not even running Audessey yet.

Now that I've collected enough RC speakers for an 11.2 setup...they just can't compare.

Again...sorry!
I wanted run my RC-Line for an HT setup in the garage but since I sold almost everything, just have RC-70 and RCLCR left I am
switching gears. This will be my garage HT line up.

Pioneer PRO-111 9G Kuro Television
Yamaha RX-Z9 Receiver
Front Left / Right V2.3i
V20Ci For Center and Rear Surround
V2.0Ri For Side Surrounds
2 - S12.3 Subwoofers.

That should keep those pesky critters away from the house..

Fears glad your liking that V2.0C I know you werent sure before you got it. To my ears it is nice and full and blends nicley even with music.
Also glad to hear your liking those V2.0Ri surrounds.

Agreed; the "Sunshine Tax" we pay to live in this beautiful place is VERY expensive, indeed!
I would pay all kinds of sunshine tax around here if I could. Nice place great acreage I live on, great veiw but the Mother%^&(&*$^&*# Rain will drive you nuts
8 months out of the year.
I think it's even funnier and more appropriate that it's your garage. A house the size of your garage alone would probably cost several times more than your entire property down here tongue.gif
post #48229 of 51590
We might be moving to Colorado, though I will admit San Diego and the endless sunshine does sound nice.
If it was up to me though I would rather be on the 200 acre farm in Missouri more than any place in the world.
We left there to come out here to the Pacific Northwest. I have lived anywhere from Hawaii to Greece, and that
farm was the best place I have ever lived.

are incredible performing speakers and if you are in the market the should be on your list. 10.gif

Futureshop has the RC70s for $399 again. It's been a while since they've had them down to this price. Funny how yesterday they were $999 each and today they are $399 and being advertised as "save $50"

They consistently do this with many, many items on sale. I wonder why. If an item is on sale, presumably, it's because they want to sell more of them. Advertising "you save $600" certainly would sell more of them than "you save $50". Anyway. At least we know the honest price for those speakers.

Remember that guy on here last winter for a brief moment looking for sonic nirvana. I think I found it.
Played Framptons live version of Do You Feel Like We Do..... I dont hear that song to often anymore
but it sure still sounds good turned up loud in the garage. I was a teenager when that song was popular
back in 1976, boy time flys bye.
