The locals feel the same way.
Chris had his "welcome homecoming" Saturday. He and his band Absent Element played a charity concert and even though the other guys in Absent Element are pretty good, everyone I talked to there (yeah, I was there) commented on how much better Chris (he even played the guitar) was than the other guys. It would appear that most local people feel that he will either form another band or go solo even though he said Saturday, solo wasn't something he was looking for, but he didn't rule it out, elusive in his comments. My guess is he has something lined up but can't talk about it until after the AI Summer Tour.
And it was nice to see what you saw on TV is what he did in concert. He did Wanted: Dead or Alive as the first song and it was done like he did it on the show, just better. They did a couple other covers and some of the bands original songs. He closed the show with an original by himself on guitar called "Home." It was a slow song talking about missing the people he loved and how he wanted to be back. Not a bad song, but whether it would crack the Top 100, I don't know.
Here is picture I took Saturday at the show. Enjoy.
