Well I got my Harmony 880 from 6thave.com today when it shipped last friday. DHL did a good job getting it to me so fast for ground shipping(I'm in Oregon and it shipped from NJ). As far as the remote goes, its perfect for what I need it to do. I got it setup and running in less then 15 minutes. The online setup was a snap and everything worked liked it should. I'm looking forward to playing with it more. So far it controls the following:
Sony R50XBR1
Denon AVR-1803
DirectTV H20
Xbox 360
Pioneer PD-5700

I was surprised at how well it works with the Xbox 360. Plus it looks like it will be easy to upgrade too.

I sent my rebate form for the Harmony 880 that I purchased fro eCost in today so I'll see what happens. Frankly I bought the remote when I did because of the price, the rebate didn't enter in to it as I've learned from past experience that rebates tend to be very problematic. About the only rebate that I think one has a 100% chance of receiving is through Staples' easy rebate or quick rebate or whatever the heck they call it.

I just bought the 880 from buy e retail for 140. J&R would only come down to 190, so it was a price wash, except I dont have to wait 6 months for a rebate check!

Well...finally got the logitech rebate status site to confim receipt of my rebate. Apparently, it's being processed. I never did receive an email confirming receipt.

The surprising thing, though, is that "Harmony 676/880 Remote Control $50 @ TiVo" is listed as the Promotion.

My rebate form stated nothing about Tivo and it didn't ask for any Tivo-related documentation.

Has anyone actually received a rebate check, yet?

DrDetroit or anyone else, how long did it take from the time you sent your rebate in until its status showed on the Logitech website? Echoing DrDetroit, has anyone actually received a rebate check yet? And finally, has anyone received notification that they don't qualify for the rebate because the last 4 digits of the part number on the Harmony box doesn't match those on the rebate form?

I mailed the rebate package on 1/28 and received the e-mail on 2/26. The rebate is still "being processed". The form said 6-12 weeks to process. Just past 6 weeks, so I guess we are working toward 12 weeks.

I received an email today saying Logitech had received my rebate form for the Harmony 880. I had sent it in 24 March.

Codger - I sent my rebate form and material in about a week after the required purchase period. I got my email notice last week.

I kept checking the logitech rebate status site, however, I think I kept making the same mistake...I misread the instructions and kept entering not only the address numbers, but part of the street name, too. After I removed the street name letters my rebate status popped right up.

I submitted my rebate in the last week of March. No email yet but I checked online and saw my rebate submission with below issue: "We are currently unable to approve your rebate for the reason listed below.The UPC symbol or proof-of-purchase tab you". Seemed like Tivo rebate was applied since the promotion mentioned Tivo whereas my form did not have Tivo.

I called customer service and talked to them. I was told that the issue has been corrected and he gave me another submission #. I was told to check again in a week for it to be updated. Lets see what happens

Where did you buy it from? I bought mine from eCost and I noticed that the UPC number was slightly different but submitted anyway. I got the same issue as you above for my status. What were you told when you called cust serv.?

got it from costco. even my upc code is slightly different. I think I posted that here as well...few days back. As i wrote earlier, the csr guy corrected the error and re-submitted the claim for me. thats what I was told. check in a week and my claim is correctly being processed now

I'm getting repeat emails from Logitech thanking me for purchasing a Harmony 880 and also successfully changing my password(???). To top it off I checked the Logitech rebate page and found that they've denied my rebate request because I need to provide a street address. On the copy of the rebate that I kept my street address is clearly given along with a PO Box number. I emailed customer support today asking what gives. Another amusing(?) thing was that on the customer service form there's a place for the amount of the rebate and the form wouldn't accept the correct $50 figure. I finally left the amount blank and then the site accepted the form. It makes you wonder if they've outsourced customer service to Outer Mongolia.

After purchasing my Harmony 676 way back in January and sending in my rebate about a week after, I finally, finally received the check yesterday, 05/09/2006. They do come, but don't hold your breath.

yeah, mine came. I guess I mailed back in January or early february.
I had to go through two remotes to get a good one, but it indeed did work out.

I also purchase my remote from Costco. I actually called Logitech about the different UPC number in March (which I posted on this site) and they said it will be covered.
I just checked the status of my rebate and it was denied because of the UPC code!
I tried to call csr but only get an automated response at this number :
866-533-6880
I sent an email but was wondering if there is another number to try to actually talk to someone?

I just got an email from Harmony requesting the UPC barcode number?
I thought that was the barcode from the out side of the box but 12 digits?
Can anyone tell me where to find this?

Anybody else having trouble checking the status of their Harmony 880 rebate? Last week the rebate status page on the Harmony site showed "processing, estimated date for mailing the rebate 6/8". Then Monday it showed "received and processing" with no date. Now it's impossibe to access the status page, it kicks me back to the rebate sign in page.

I just wanted to say I picked up a Harmony 880 today and it’s a truly magnificent remote control. When I went to sleep last night I had 7 remote controls on my end table. Tonight I have one.

I’m so pleased with this remote. Anyone that doesn’t have one that’s considering getting one should stop considering and go get it.

Put it this way. If your receiver, tv, dvd or whatever has it the Harmony 880 will make it do it.

I finally received my Harmony 880 rebate check today. As to the problem accessing Harmony's rebate status webpage referred to in post #142 above, apparently Harmony kicks you out of the rebate status system once the check is sent, unlike most companies that show "check sent".
