I also purchase my remote from Costco. I actually called Logitech about the different UPC number in March (which I posted on this site) and they said it will be covered.
I just checked the status of my rebate and it was denied because of the UPC code!
I tried to call csr but only get an automated response at this number :

I sent an email but was wondering if there is another number to try to actually talk to someone?
