Depending on the type of projector you have - some have to be lined up in the middle of the screen while others allow for lens shift and keystone correction.
OK, I always thought that under the screen would be best for the center. I will have plenty of room over the screen--it's just dead space that forms a triangle below the roof ridge and the top of the screen. Do I need to angle it downward towards the seats?
The screen will not be transparent. It will need to be high enough off the floor for my subs to fit into the curved shadowbox bottom. The sides will go on either side, the center above.
I will be using a Sharp XV-Z3000 DLP projector from 12' back. It will be mounted from a drop pole from the ceiling.
Do I want my eyeline in the center of the screen? With a 50" tall screen, that makes the approximate distance from the floor about 24". Right?
How high is your screen off the floor?
