Hmmmmmmm ... It might be interesting if someone actually compared the VTF-3 HO to the Axiom before making such comments at "eating it for lunch" ...

Now, for this "126 dB" claim. The 1220 managed peak, short term 110 dB bursts @ 16 Hz/one meter. Assuming the VTF-3 HO DOES manage to be double the 1220, this means one hits 116 dB and two hit 122 dB ... WITH ROOM GAIN.
Before we get too ahead of ourselves, The SVS PB12-Plus managed 99 dB at compression @ 16 Hz. Two will hit 105 dB.
For a pair of VTF-3 HO's to hit 126 dB seems ... unlikely. Even in room.
