Sheng Ya is the OEM for Vincent Audio. 1-608-237-1726 or on the web @ http://www.q-usa.com/ They may be able to repair your player.

Hope this Helps :)

I have a suggestion, buy your next CDP from a reputable company that can support you in these situations! This is the chance you take when you buy grey market. Chalk it up to experience.

Oh, I'm not so sure q-usa can help.

Shengya was certainly OEMing Vincent Audio designs, but I have heard that allegedly it was without legal permission. Allegedly, there has been a lawsuit going on regarding Shengya and Kavent's use of Vincent Audio designs.

I have the Vincent S6 in one of my systems and it is a quality player .......sweet, musical and a pleasure to listen to.

Anyway, good luck to you in finding a replacement transport. I hope it works out for you.

I doubt Sheng Ya is Vincent OEM, because Sheng Ya claims "V icent" is its oversea brand. Please note Sheng Ya says "V icent" without the "n" for "Vincent". I think Sheng Ya may want customers "V icent" is same as "Vincent" without trademark infringment. I have a Sheng Ya catalogue on my hand. It also uses "V icent" instead of "Vincent". As to my knowledge, Vincent has longer history than Sheng Ya. Sheng Ya might copy Vincent's design and gives customer feel Vincent is from Sheng Ya, which is very popluar way in China. If this is true, I think Sheng Ya is just cheap duplicates. Most Chinease audio products makers either use similar brand or copy exterior design to give customers they are in same league as those high end products.
