I've been building my own speaks/subs for about 30 years, and I still keep coming back to this formula. I drill out the center pole of the D28 to reduce efficiency so I don't need a bleed off resitor and feed the back wave into it's own little transmission line. But that's just me. It's amazing how many $10k plus speakers use this tweeter.
