Wouldn't this feature of the XBox 360 spare most current gen plasmas from any real burn-in threat? BTW, I'm in serious shopping mode for an HDTV presently, and that's why I'm weighing in with this. The Vizio 50 and 42" models are on my short list.
Yes it would if you left a game on pause...
The main issue is playing X360 games that have a HUD display....like DOA4, Perfect dark, GRAW etc.....they basically the same image in the same place for the entire time you play....I.E. Gun, life and Ammo stats....
So there is a chance the HUD could burn in....but I think if you play in short bursts of less than a few hours and use the screen wash, we should be alright.
I have yet to hook my xbox360 to my Vizio, trying to break it in as much as possible because there is no going back once I hook it up!!!! HAHAHA!
