The bad:
I left the stereo on in 5 ch stereo mode and went out. The cat must have stepped on the remote and cranked to full blast. Blew 5 speakers- only the sub survived.

The good:
I got a new full set of speakers (upgrade) and the wife didn't have a dead cat.


Now I have these dead speaker boxes that I'd like to repair.

Where can I get drivers for Polk and Energy?

Another related question:

How good do you think another mfr's drivers would sound in the Polk boxes?

Polk and Energy. You should be able to find contact information on their respective web sites.

It depends on how you design your crossover. If you try to use the original Polk crossover, then there is no way to tell. Chances are they will sound like crap.
