While it's true that the factory calibration is one of the best out there, it can't take into account variables in sources and screens. Also, one of the things that JKP had Samsung design into this projector is that it can be measured with a photo-colorimeter and then it computes it's own primaries (SMPTE C, HDTV, & EBU), gray scale, and gamma tables. Of course, this requires a Minolta CS-200 or Photo Research PR-650 ($12K+ test instumentation). Hopefully, some of you will still have enough money left in your budget to have it calibrated by someone who uses this equipment.
And using Avia or VE via DVI how do I adjust the Hue?
There is no hue adjustment in DVI, since it is RGB.
