SonoSub Wood Veneer Finish

Has anybody tried to wrap there SonoSub in wood veneer and then stain it. I'm thinking that might look very nice. Just checking to see if anybody has done this or if I'm going to be the first one.

I know that veneer can cost some bucks so I want to make sure it will stick to the tube.

BTW, my tube is 24in, so the bend isn't as tight as some.

I don't know if you'd be the first, but it'd probably look damn cool.

Thanks Vashon. :)

Well, the veneer alone (wasn't paper-backed either, was scary to work with) went for around $20CDN at HD. Everything was pretty much used up.
