DIY Outside speakers

I'm going to build a set of outside speakers to put under the eaves by my deck. They should stay mostly dry, but no doubt will get a little wet in bad storms. What are the reccomended driver types for outside use, paper would seem to be a bad choich....

Polyprophylene woofers and piezo horn tweeters would be indestructable and simple to build, since piezos don't really need any xover. Super cheap too, in case you're worried about theft, since you won't hardly have any money in 'em. Piezo's are available all over the place for a couple of $$ ea, and pretty much any surplus woofer around 5" to 8" can be found for a few $$ more. Try parts express buyouts for example.... ;)
