I've read that for real low extension you want sealed but I gotta be honest I just don't see what folks mean.
I have a Tumult in 115L sealed and model in Unibox. If I go with a passive radiator setup of 150-200L tuned to around 16-17hz the PR sub has WAY more output below 20hz. It's dropping pretty fast and the sealed sub looks like it would have more output below 10hz, but how much info is really down there?
Am I missing something or when folks talk about the extension of a sealed sub are they comparing it to a reflex design tuned up above 25-30hz?
