What BD titles interest you? part 7

Since this hasn't been done, I thought I'd ask what BD launch titles interest you. I'm using every title announced to date (CES 06 and after). Specifically I'm looking at titles you either will buy or you have an interest in buying. For example I WILL buy Terminator 2 but I might get House of flying daggers based on reviews and word of mouth. In that case I'd count both as interested but I know for sure I won't be getting Ladder 49.

This poll lets you select several titles so go ahead and create a wishlist, just don't go voting for titles you don't expect to get. I can only do 10 at a time, so visit the other threads to vote on other titles. Obviously if no titles interest you don't need to vote or tell us you're not voting.

part 2
part 3
part 4
part 5
part 6
part 7

The last two options are combined into one. Not much point in doing another poll just for one title. If you do vote for the last option please say which one

For future polls how about adding (assuming studios are not exclusive to any format) my wishlist below:

Chronicles of Riddick
I, Robot
Cowboy Bebop: Knocking on Heaven's Door (using original title, and not the lame "The Movie" title ;))
Akira
Steamboy
The Studio Ghibli movies
Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl
X2
Star Trek 2, 4, 6, and 8
Pixar movies
Oldboy
Drunken Master 2
Fist of Legend
God of Cookery
Shaolin Soccer
Battle Royale
The Sound of Music
The Wizard of Oz
The Lord of the Rings Extended Editions
Lawrence of Arabia

If you haven't voted in Parts 1-6 please follow the links in the first post and do so. They are split into 7 parts because I couldn't fit all options into one post. There is no reason to disregard the other parts, unless you don't like ANY of the movies in those parts.

My vote was definitely for We Were Soldiers. I wouldn't buy xXx if you paid me. :p

I'm kind of surprised. It looks like T2 has gotten the most votes out of all the movies in these 7 polls. I was always kind of doubtful about just how popular that movie was. The extreme edition is usually one of the cheapest movies at BB. I usually see it next to the counter for $9. Even the D-Theater version I only paid $15 for.

I personally liked the first movie more and that's the one I'm really looking forward to in HD.

I'm not surprised, T2 rocks! It's probably cheap because of it's popularity. If it wasn't popular they wouldn't be octo-dipping on us.

That said, I kind of prefer the grittyness of the first one. T2 is very slick and clean but The Terminator really gives you a sense of desperation and struggle. I don't even have T2 on DVD and I never will now

Maybe I'm just not checking the lists properly, but is Into The Blue missing? That's one I'd be interested in seeing in HD.

I have to agree.. I don't see the similarities of the two.
I was curious why they were lumped together.

I would love Bram Stokers Dracula with crystal clear picture quality and uncompressed audio....... a very underrated movie which has a superb soundtrack and great cinematography....... not to mention the quality acting and direction ( some people didn't like the love story aspect but i felt it really brought something new to the Dracula legend )

Raiders of the Lost Ark is my favourite film of all time so if they can release that they can convince me to buy into all this high definition future.

Paramount releases the Indiana Jones trilogy but Lucasfilm apparently owns it so i guess if the original DVD release schedule holds true then we might get Indiana Jones and the Star Wars films on high definition disc sometime in the year 2012 ( or later if both formats flop )

It was pictured at CES. I thought the movie was just okay but damn if Jessica Alba didn't look hot as hell in that bikini. Her skimpy suit is the only thing making me consider buying the BD of Into The Blue. Call me a perv but she looked smokin'!
