Either way it is true two winners and higher bills for everyone else.
What's the point of trying to force Time Warner into succumbing to CBS and its ridiculous carrier charges, and, in the process, raising cable bills even higher for those who stick around? As noted above, all the cable/satellite carriers will be subject to this kind of monopolistic action by CBS when it's contract renewal time. And all the other content carriers will be looking to do the same thing when they get the chance. This situation has to play itself out, but quitting Time Warner and going to another cable/satellite provider won't cure anything. Better to get an antenna, which is feasible in most locales, and provides a generally improved picture.
