Custom Tickets Done For You

Thread Starter
I didn't want to keep hijacking MikeWh's Excel Ticket Maker thread (a really cool tool) with the photoshopped tickets I've been making, so I decided to start this thread.

I have a lot of fun doing these tickets, and forum members have occasionally asked me to customize one of mine for their purposes, with their theater name, address, and other custom text.

So, I'm offering this as a service to the forum. I'll post what I've made for an event (Super Bowl, Oscars, Final Four, World Series, etc.), and if you're hosting a watch party for that event, and would like a customized ticket, let me know what changes you'd like, and I'll see what I can do.

The posted ticket will be generic, so if it will work for you, feel free to download it and use it.

I've also done tickets for movie nights; if you're hosting one and showing a specific feature presentation, let me know what you'd like.

No charge for the service, but if you'd like to make a donation for my time, just PM me for my PayPal ID; the choice is yours!

Lastly, I need to give credit to bugman72 who originally posted the PhotoShop file he created, and to MikeWh for his Excel Ticket Maker and popularizing the idea of creating custom tickets.

Here's the generic ticket for this year's Final Four. I plan on putting the actual school names in once they are determined. Enjoy!

Bravo, ND! Thanks for the service

ND: beautiful job, how about presented in Hi Definition 5.1 surround sound on the ticket? I use Mike's ticket maker as many times as I can with Superbowl and movie nights my lastest venture. I use allposters.com for my images. Once again thanks for posting the ticket and great job!!

Yes, taxman - that's a perfect example of a customization I can add. Since not everyone has HD (myself included), I left it off the generic version.

I just wanted to vouch for ND23 quality and excellent service. I contacted him several times for a super bowl ticket which he helped me with and made several revisions and got them to me in time to print for the big game.

I contacted him a second time for a ticket for an Oscar party we were having. Stellar work, and an awesome presentation.

I just wanted to say "thanks" again in public.

Here's a ticket I did last night for sajandrew (Andy). He's nearly done with his theater, and wants to do a movie night for his daughter's upcoming 6th birthday party. Since it comes out today on DVD, he's thinking Chicken Little would be a good choice for the movie. Andy believes he has enough Photoshop skills to modify the text once he confirms date/time/etc., so the .psd file was sent to him via email this morning. Hope it goes well, Andy!

ND,

Very nice service! Love the Star Wars ticks you posted awhile back that you used for your company's outing.

Thanks again ND, my daughter will really like this. We used some popcorn looking invitations for her last movie party, but these custom tickets are way cooler, IMO.

Thanks,
Andy

You're welcome, Andy! I highly recommend printing these as 4"x6" glossy pics at your most convenient photo development vendor (Walgreens, WalMart, shutterfly, etc.). At 20 to 30 cents each, it's usually well worth it.

Here's one done for cbaker, who wanted more of a generic movie night ticket without a specific date/time or movie. He requested a movie reel and popcorn theme, and I came up with this:

I can modify this with your theater name, if you're interested.

And one for cp1966... for this Spring's Survivor finale. This is a work-in-progress. Anybody know for sure when the finale will air?

ND, Great looking tickets! You've inspired me to take my movie nights up a notch with tickets!

Would you mind sending me the psd file for the generic? I'd like to use it as a model for my own if possible.

Thanks,
Tony (tragusa3@charter.net)

LOL! What a great idea! The only problem I have is that my friends can NEVER agree on a movie until the last minute, so I would probably not be able to do something like this for my opening night party.

ND23,

Great idea. Never thought of that but would definitely add authenticity to my Home Theater. Would you also send me, if possible, the .PSD so I can customize it.

Thanks,
Ken

ND: each tickets is better then the previous one, beautiful work. What Adobe Photoshop are you using? standard 7.0 or Professional 7.0? So if I install the program then I could work from the basic PSD file that you use? Don't know too much about the program, sorry for all the questions..
Can Someone please send me the PSD or even a link to it. I will host it on www.Mattsshack.com for everyone.

Thanks

I use plain ol' Adobe Photoshop Elements 1.0.

Now that the teams have been decided, if you're having a Final Four watch party, here's the updated generic ticket. If you'd like a customized one, let me know.
