Last question, 32?
Better answer, the 64 bit version will run 64 bit programs and 32 bit programs but not all 32 bit programs. It is more restrictive to provide for more security (Business use drives Windows development, Home use is secondarily).
I entered "Windows 32 and 64 bit comparison" into search.com and got a lot of useful looking web pages.
HDHR, Fusion and MyHD all capture ".tp" files.
Fusion is the best playback program by far IMHO. It has a remote.
VLC and MyHD are the other programs that I use for playback and MyHD is used for live watching as it has great timeshifting and a remote.
VLC has better cropping features (Zoom) and is chosen when that is needed or a NAS file is played. MyHD with more than one CPU will not play Network files. No Remote!
Note: I have installed the W7 device driver for my NAS and test played one of the files using VLC so W7 now works just like my other computers running Vista.
As to MCE playing ".tp" files, someone else will need to respond, I have never liked MCE when ever I used it. YMMV
Edit: Can someone report how to play ".tp" in MCE. I just tried and failed.
