Many people have seen my posts and have been asking me for the Brillian 6580iFB discrete remote control codes. I developed these codes with the help of the Brillian 6580iFB user's manual, a little reverse-engineering, Microsoft Notepad ( don't ask :rolleyes: ), and Prontoedit.
Most of the IR codes are emitted by the Brillian remote, but the following are not:
Unfortunately, the User's manual didn't provide enough information to create these codes. Therefore, I did a quick reverse-engineering job on the IR code format, and hand-crafted all of the discrete codes listed above using Microsoft Notepad, and input them into Prontoedit. I have tested all of these codes on the Pronto and MX3000 remotes. Another AVS user provided the RTI library based on my codes.
The Pronto library only contains the above discrete codes. You will need to learn the remaining codes into your Pronto.
The Home Theater Master (MX-3000) library contains the entire Brillian 6580iFB remote control codes, including all of the discrete codes listed above. Even though I have the MX-3000, I believe this library will work with all Home Theater Master remote controls.
If anybody converts these files to another format, I'll be happy to host them at my web site and update the links in this message.
